As I started to write this, LeBron just CHOKED big time against the Nuggets by missing the game tying free throw. You know, I am not a big NBA fan (havent been since I was like eleven) and I don't have a lick of skills, but if you are the second coming of Jordan fricking act like it. I'm not a fan of dudes pretending to be high schoolers (I have said it once, and I will say it again that man is not 21. Minimum 27. Look at him, he had a ZZ Top beard at 17 years old!), but he had the ball in his hand with 4.6 seconds left with a WIDE-OPEN three and he passed up the shot and gave it to a rookie that missed his last two free throws. That is why he will never be Jordan, Bird, Magic (damn, I'm getting up there), Iverson or even Kobe. That's right I said it, KOBE. That man may have missed more game winners than anyone in history, but last I checked he actually made a lot as well. At least he is willing to take the game in his hands and say: win or lose, I put this team on my shoulders and made the attempt to take us to a victory. Not pass the ball off to a role-player to not shoulder the blame of a loss by saying 'That man shot it, not me. Blame him.' You know, when it all comes down to it in sports you can live up to the hype and not be any good as a team player. Hell, Jordan struggled for about half a decade until they hired Phil Jackson over Doug Collins (if I remember correctly) and he learned that team play wins championships. Maybe I am being to hard on the kid. Anyway.
So I had my interview today, and I think it went rather well. Not gonna say too much, but it seems like a stable company with great people. It's in the D-Town, but I can get past that by jetting up there at some point if they make the right choice. I swear to god, this was the first interview in a long time where they didnt read verbatum from the big book of interview questions. It was painless and informal. I'll keep my peeps posted.
Well, on the drive up there I realized something. As a few of you know, I got back into J-Urban (god, I hate that term) and J-Pop after about a half year out of the loop. The songs have a great pop/hip-hop/80's feel-good-action-fun-time feel, but the videos....leave a LOT to be desired. It's like they gey MTV from 1992, and that is about it. That and Diggy Mo looks like 'A Pimp Named Slickback' in the Candy Pop video. Aside from that, it's just pure J-Pop goodness. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch.php?v=IV7Mb0i1BAU
Also, I have realized that I must marry both members of Bennie K. That has nothing to do with anydamnthing, but they's fine ladies. Remember what I said about the fashion issues in the videos? This is no different. Check out the asian pop-n-lock crew. Get funky, ya'll!

Shameless Hip-Hop Plug! Teqnyc and the SSIK entertainment will be at Kelly O'Briens this Saturday night. Teq's my dog, so if you are down to hear some live hip hop with only ONE 'booty booty butt cheeks' song (good ratio, he does a 9 song set, give or take) come on down and show some love and whatnot!
Oh, I recieved a nice little note that the site wouldnt let people leave comments. Well, I fixed that issue (good looking out, btw) and all six of you are free and able to tell me how my sight is just above average! Reach for the stars, but know how tall you are. Or something deep like that I am hella tired.
Well that's all for now. It's been a long day and The Kid is tired. And my peeps must sleep as well. Stay up, ya'll.
Chachi out.
