Girl Bands: Sucking Since Jade Broke Up...Until Now!

Well, I am back on the scene after finishing my taxes and it is time to celebrate! Get ready for the biggest twenty videos on the planet!

Chachi’s Top 20 Video Countdown!

We only have one video on Falling Out this week:

YUI – I’ll Be (Peaked at #2)

Big year for YUI last year, but she seems to have quieted down. We start off with the second biggest video of 2008 spending its last week on the chart!

20. T.I. feat Rihanna – Live Your Life (Last Week #16, Five Weeks at #1)
After a long…long…LONG run, T.I. and Rihanna fall four spots this week and look to be with us for the last time. I wonder if the T.I. and Justin Timberlake song will be made into video form soon?
19. John Legend – Everybody Knows (New Entry)

New John Legend! This is a song I missed a few times due to my iPod being full but now that I have my Zune back, maybe the piece of shit will work and I can listen to it. Love this song and just saw the video…now. What do ya think?
18. Kid CuDi – Day and Night (Last Week #19)
Kid CuDi slowly moves up this week as he climbs one single spot. I wonder where they are going to take this to because he is actually rather tolerable.
17. Halcali – LONG KISS GOODBYE (Last Week #13)

NEW VIDEO! Got it downloaded and it is the mad notes! Big ups to James for pointing it out to me as well. I have readers!
16. B.o.B. – I’ll Be In The Sky (Last Week #20)
B.o.B. rockets up four spots this week! So with hip hop resurging, this is a good year for someone like B.o.B. to come out and ride the wave like Kanye and Lupe did in 2004-2005 after the brainrape that was 50 Cent.
15. Young Jeezy featuring Nas – My President Is Black (Last Week #17)
So Jeezy and Nas move up two spots this week and I have to say that this video is growing on me despite the asinine hook. Because it is damn stupid.
14. Paramore – Decode (Last Week #11)
Paramore falls three spots this week as one of the biggest bands of 2008 makes its last stop it seems for a least a while. I needs more Hayley!
13. BACK-ON – flyaway (Last Week #15)

BACK-ON moves a little bit closer to return to the Top 10 this week as they climb up two spots. They shocked a lot of people by bringing home two Chachi Music Awards but their album was well worth the wait. Check it out!
12. Game feat Ne-Yo – Camera Phone (Last Week #12)
Game and Ne-Yo seem to have stalled out this week as they spend their second week at number twelve. Ne-Yo’s new video isn’t bad at all I must say. Has an Usher vibe to it. Not in a bad way, either.
11. Jesse McCartney – It’s Over (Last Week #14)
Yeah, THAT Jesse McCartney is one step away from the Top 10. Screw you, this song is bad ass. And the remix of “How Do You Sleep” is surprisingly great as well. Could we see a J-Tim replacement?
10. BoA – Eat You Up [Korean Version] (Last Week #10, Four Weeks at #1)
We are into the Top 10 as we begin with BoA and her former number one video! Those of you that have called me may have heard that this is MY FRICKING RINGBACK NOW! IN YOUR FACE, KRAPPABEL! Seriously, I still love this song.
9. NERD – Sooner or Later – Away (Last Week #10)

So NERD is slowly moving up, hopping a spot this week. I wonder if the Kanye West tour is coming to Denver at all. Odds are…no.
8. Ikimonogakari – Kimagure Romanteikku (Last Week #5)
Ikimonogakari falls from the Top Five this week as it looks like their bid to finally retake the top spot has ended. They are a frontrunner for Album of the Year in 2009, though.
7. YA-KYIM respects SEAMO - SA IKOU! (Last Week #9)
YA-KYIM and SEAMO are moving on up! Two more spots and they are back in the Top Five with maybe another video, joining only a few artists that have ever pulled that off on the Countdown! Man, they need another full album.
6. Nana Mizuki – TRICKSTER (Last Week #3)
After coming so close to knocking off the champ, Nana Mizuki falls three big spots this week outside of the Top Five. She has a new video though so it is only a matter of time before she comes back.
5. Kanye West – Heartless (Last Week #7)

We are in the Top Five and Kanye West is back up here once again! I am hearing rumblings that they next video off of his album is “Amazing” with Young Jeezy or “Coldest Winter” and if that is the case I am hella happy in both moves.
4. Joe Inoue – Closer (Last Week #6)
Well I’ll be damned! Joe Inoue moves up a big two spots this week and one step closer to maybe even a number one video! Man, this video has really caught my attention and the song is on every MP3 mix I make lately. It is that good. We are down to three!
3. RSP with DA BUBBLE GUM BROTHERS – LA.LA.LA LOVE SONG (Last Week #4)

It has been a LOOOOOONG JOURNEY for RSP x BGB but they are into the Top Three finally for the first time! So I am wondering what is next from RSP because I hadn’t heard much from them but I see no albums for them on YesAsia. Little help, anyone?
2. Aqua Timez - Velonica (Last Week # 2)

For the second straight week, Aqua Timez holds on to the runner up spot! WHAT IN THE HELL IS UP WITH THE BLEACH FILLER! TURN THE FRICKING PENDELUM ALREADY, DAMMIT! Crap….well with Aqua Timez at number two, we have the same number one once again!
1. YA-KYIM respects KOME KOME CLUB – Kimi Ga Iru Dake De (Last Week #1, Three Weeks at #1)

YA-KYIM is at number one for the third straight week! I looks like we may have a dynasty in the making here with these young ladies. Bennie K could have a run for their money with them as they are both tied with two number one videos! Who is the biggest J-Pop group on the Countdown? YA-KYIM has the edge now!

Well, that is all for this week! Tune in next week to see if YA-KYIM can make it a full week on top! Or will Aqua Timez finally grab the throne back? Or can RSP x BGB continue their streak and take the crown from the ladies of YA-KYIM? See you in seven to find out!
