I Told You I Would Do It! Now Who's Laughing?!

Happy New Year’s Eve, peeps! I hope you go out and have a blast! I think I am going to head up to Denver (Gotta think fast, the game will be over soon and I so want to beat that traffic) but I may just hang out here downtown or something. Be safe, peeps.

I know I talked about doing a Top 100 songs of 2006. Well, I shall stand and deliver peeps! It took a minute (actually about an hour or so) but it is finished! I bring to you….

Chachi’s Top 100 Videos of 2006 Countdown!!

Yes, I know. It was a daunting task but I finished it! Well, let’s get this party started right at Number 100!

100. Cobra Starship – Snakes On A Plane (Bring It On)

Yeah, I liked ‘Snakes on a Plane’ and this song was at the end of it. That and the beginning of the song has the quote of the year.
99. Three Days Grace – Animal I Have Become
98. Teriyaki Boyz – Tokyo Drift (Fast And Furious)
97. Trey Songz – Gotta Go
96. Sean Paul – Tempurature
95. Talib Kweli – Listen!
94. Jack Johnson – Upside Down
You know, I don’t have anything AGAINST Jack Johnson. My old boss used to like his stuff and this song was good. Too bad it was from the ‘Curious George’ movie…
93. Ken Hirai – Bye My Melody
92. Nas – Hip Hop Is Dead
91. Ayumi Hamasaki – Blue Bird
90. Kumi Koda – Twinkle
89. Dem Franchise Boyz – Lean With It, Rock Wit It
88. HIM – Wings of a Butterfly
87. Hikaru Utada – Keep Tryin’.
86. Staind – Everything Changes
85. Jessica Simpson – A Public Affair

YES! I don’t care what anyone says, this song is AWESOME! The video I could do without because I don’t think she is all that, but even still. Roller boogie is where it is at.
84. Bennie K feat Blaise Planet – Endless Summer
83. Omarion – Ice Box
82. Chamillionare feat. Krazie Bone – Ridin’
81. Christina Milian feat. Young Jeezy – Say I
80. Orange Range – UnRockstar
79. Panic At The Disco – I Write Sins, Not Tragedies
78. Sowelu – Dear Friend
77. Kanye West feat. Paul Wall, GLC and T.I. – Drive Slow (Remix)
76. Young Jeezy – I Love It
75. Pussycat Dolls feat Snoop Dogg – Buttons
74. Soul’d Out – Alive (Holdover from 2005)
73. Daddy Yankee – Rompe
72. Chieko Kawabe - Sakura Kiss (Ouran High School Host Club Opening Theme)
71. Hyori Lee – Get Ya!

Hyori Lee is fine. She needs to eat a sandwich (and is no BoA by any means) but she is still quite nice. Also, this song doesn’t sound like ‘Do Something’ as much as they say. That song SUCKED IT HARD. Oh, and the video was quite nice to boot.
70. Ne-Yo – So Sick
69. Rhianna – Unfaithful
68. Southern All-Stars – Dirty Old Man
67. Bowling For Soup – High School Never Ends
66. Orange Range – Champione
65. Diddy feat Nicole Scherzinger– Come To Me
64. Dixie Chicks – Not Ready To Make Nice
63. Soulhead feat Kumi Koda – X.X.X
62. Lupe Fiasco – Kick Push
61. Saving Jane – Come Down To Me
Okay, this song is special to me because it reminds me of my feelings to a certain person. Odds are if you think its you, that it IS NOT YOU. I kind of like Saving Jane. ‘Girl Next Door’ was rather catchy.
60. Young Dro – Rubber Band Banks
59. Yui – Rolling Star
58. 30 Seconds to Mars – The Kill
57. Cassie – Me And U
56. D-51 – Brand New World
55. Pushim, RHYMESTER, HOME MADE KAZOKU, MABOROSHI, May J – I Say Yeah
54. BoA – Brand New Beat
53. Exile & Kumi Koda – Won’t Be Long
52. May J – Here We Go

Yes. Oh god yes. I have a feeling that 2007 will be May J’s year. Her dancing leaves something to be desired (They ALL can’t be Kumi Koda) but the video was still bad ass. Did I mention she is HAWT? If I didn’t, she is.
51. HIGH AND MIGHTY COLOR – Enrai ~Tooku ni aru Akari~
50. Jay – Show Me What You Got
49. James Blunt – Beautiful
48. The Game – Let’s Ride
47. Gnarles Barkley – Crazy
46. Bi (Rain) – Move On
45. Bennie K – Rensou Game/Namie Amuro – CAN’T SLEEP, CAN’T EAT, I’M SICK
44. Younha – Houki Boshi

One of many songs from ‘Bleach’ to make it on this year. She reminds me a lot of Vanessa Carlton, except Korean. That was news to me until I saw how her name was written on her album. As we all know, I am scared of Koreans. Malibu’s Most Wanted joke….eh, fuck it.
43. RBD – Tu Amor
42. Rie Fu – I Wanna Go To A Place…
41. Sakai Kanako – Cheer! (REC Opening Theme)
40. Se7en – I Wanna…
39. Soul’d Out – Starlight Destiny
38. Nelly Furtado – Say It Right
37. JoJo – Too Little, Too Late
36. Bi (Rain) feat. Tabo – I’m Coming

Here is a guarantee: Bi will be the artist of the year next year unless T.I. does something massive. He has an English album coming and has a song with Omarion that WILL (hell yeah, that is a threat) have the greatest video created by man accompanying it. Mark it down, peeps.
35. Beyonce feat. Slimm Thug – Check On It
34. All American Rejects – Move Along
33. RBD – Ser O Parecer
32. Big Boi feat Scar & Sleepy Brown – Morris Brown
31. BoA – Key Of Heart
30. The Game – One Blood (It’s Okay)
29. Ciara feat. Chamillionare – Get Up
28. Justin Timberlake feat. T.I. – My Love (Peaked at #2)
27. Crystal Kay – Kirakuni (Peaked at #2)

This gem slipped under the radar. Crystal Kay reminds me of a less annoying Beyonce. She can dance, has the best voice bar none of her Japanese competition (yes, I know she is mixed) and the video for this song shows her hotness. Hell yes.
26. Nelly Furtado feat. Timbaland– Promiscuous
25. Evanscence – Call Me When You’re Sober (Peaked at #2)
24. Bennie K – Joy Trip (#1 for one week)
23. Young Dro feat. T.I. – Shoulder Lean (Peaked at #2)
22. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgen – Breaking Free (Peaked at #2)
21. Rascal Flatts – What Hurts The Most (#1 for one week)
20. Nelly Furtado – Maneater (Peaked at #2)
19. Kumi Koda – Juicy (Peaked at #2)
18. John Legend – Heaven (#1 for one week, current #1)
17. Bi (Rain) – Freeway (Peaked at #2)
16. Sleepy Brown feat. Big Boi & Pharrell – Margaritas (#1 for one week)
15. Takacha – Movin! (#1 for one week)
14. Justin Timberlake – SexyBack (#1 for one week)
13. Beat Crusaders – Tonight, Tonight, Tonight (#1 for one week)
12. Halcali – Tip Taps (#1 for two weeks, holdover from 2005)
11. A.I. – What’s Going On (#1 for three weeks)
10. Flow – Re:member (#1 for two weeks)

We have cracked the Top Ten, peeps! Alright, alright. I know I have insulted Naruto a lot over the last 18 months. Even still, Flow kicks ass. This song was what got me back into watching the show, and the video (although I was just able to download it because Bittorent pisses me off) is funny as hell.
9. Daniel Powter – Bad Day (#1 for three weeks)

Alright, I am sure to hear shit for this one. For the month of May, this was my favorite song because it got me through some things. Yes, I was being a little bitch then but this song helped.
8. UVERworld – Shamrock (#1 for three weeks, Non-consecutive)

Don’t have to explain this one. As soon as I heard this song in August it was ON. The video was cool, the song was awesome and you all know I dig The ‘World. This was also the first official #1 song on the countdown in September. Good stuff.
7. Mary J. Blige – Be Without You (#1 for 3 weeks)

So after a LONG distain for MJB, she finally got me over to her side. This song ALSO got me through some shit. The video had Terrance Howard (who was EVERYWHERE in 2005) and the album was actually pretty good. Her best work in my opinion.
6. UVERworld – Kimi no Suki na Uta (#1 for four weeks)

Yeah, UVERworld occupies another slot in the Top Ten of 2006. This song I liked a tad bit better than Shamrock, mainly because I like ballads and violins rule. Also, the video had a Mr. Big feel to it. Heh, when was the last time you heard THAT? Anyway, great video and great year.
5. M-Flo loves Emi Hinouchi and Ryohei – Summer Time Love (#1 for three weeks)

Okay, this comes as a shock to those that don’t know me. However, if you had to share a car with me this summer, like it or not this song was on. LOUD. This is a summertime jam if there ever was one. Therefore, it cracks the Top Five of 2006. M-Flo had a quiet year compared to 2005, but he still laid it down, just look at May J and Bonnie Pink. Good stuff, give it a listen. Oh, and DJ Taku has booty turntables. Priceless.
4. Shakira feat Wyclef – Hips Don’t Lie (#1 for five weeks)

Yeah, this song is on EVERYONE’S year end and mine is no different. This song was okay (until it was played in Hamburger Helper commercials) and the video was…well…lets just say that her hips don’t lie. I likes them a lot. Is niiiice.
3. John Legend – Save Room (#1 for five weeks)

WHAT?! Number three?! Not number one?! Yes, John Legend had a great year and this video was dominant, but there are two songs that had bigger years before this video came out. Even still ‘Save Room’ is may favorite R&B song in a while and his album may have been the best of the year. Now, it is time for the Final Two….
2. UVERworld – Chance (#1 for five weeks)

I remember when I downloaded this song. I heard about it on a video game board that was talking about the Bleach PSP game and I gave it a listen and since then I have been all about it. Then I saw the video and like Z said wanted to put UVERworld stickers on everything.
1. T.I. – What You Know (#1 for eight weeks)

Could it be anyone else? T.I’s King is not only one of the biggest selling albums of the year, this song is one of the best singles. The video was rather by the numbers, but it had Mike Epps so it couldn’t be that bad. I will be the first to say I don’t like rap all that much but this is one of the few albums I bought and felt it was worth the investment. Even still, T.I. had a huge 2006.

Well, that is all for now peeps! I want to thank you for an awesome year on the blog. I want to thank you for reading and hopefully next year I will double the readers! Which means 10 or so. Even still, that is better than none. Have a safe and happy New Year’s Eve! I will try to be back tomorrow and have the finalized Chachi’s up. See, told you I haven’t forgotten about it!

Live, Laugh, Learn and Love. And celebrate!!

Cold Blooded! Ain't No Dictionary Book...

Happy Friday, peeps! I’m snowed in for the most part (I may run out if it clears up a little later) which works out because it is time for…

CHACHI’S TOP 20 COUNTDOWN!

It is the final Top 20 of 2006, everyone. Its been a sweet four months of doing this (I see a spike of like…three viewers every Friday because of it!) and I thank you for your support and input. Let’s get this party started! Can I get a laffy-taffy?! How about no…

20. Koda Kumi – Twinkle [New Entry]

I am officially in love with Ms. Koda again. This song is good J-Poppy fun. Not only that, not one instance of bottle assault. Kind of a downer I will admit. Even still, its good stuff. The English version on her Black Cherry album takes a little getting used to IMHO.
19. Bowling For Soup – High School Never Ends (Last Week #15)
High school may never end, but Bowling For Soup’s run on the Countdown is pretty much over. This is no reflection on the moral of the song. That shit is damn true.
18. T.I. feat Young Jeezy, Young Dro, Big Kuntry, & B.G. – Top Back (Remix) [New Entry)

Yeah, this was bound to happen. After listening to this song it is the most pointless, arrogant song I have ever heard. Yet…I can’t stop listening to it. You can’t beat having Jeezy, Dro and TIP in the same spot at the same time.
17. Omarion – Ice Box (Last Week #19)
Okay, peeps. I hope you are sitting down. I have the greatest news to ever be told. Omarion and Bi made a song together. I will wait while you gather yourselves. Okay, can you believe that?! It will be the greatest song composed by man! Bi is ALSO RELEASING AN ENGLISH ALBUM THIS SPRING (rumored)!! Dare I say, 2007 will be ‘teh awesome’.
16. Soul’d Out – Starlight Destiny (Last Week # 9, Plunge of the Week)
Well, Diggy Mo and crew are falling very quickly. On a good note, they released a greatest hits album (which this song is on). I forgot how many good songs Soul’d Out made, and not just ‘To All Tha Dreamers’. I still like ‘Dream Drive’ to this day. Hopefully they will drop something new on us pretty soon.
15. Nas – Hip Hop Is Dead (Last Week #17)
Nasty Nas moves up two more spots this week. After releasing this he has kept a rather low profile. I haven’t seen him much on TV and I haven’t found his album yet. Keep in mind I haven’t been able to go many places (Mainly because of this fucking blizzard, more on that later).
14. Pushim, RHYMESTER, HOME MADE KAZOKU, MABOROSHI, May J – I Say Yeah (Last Week #13)
So I FINALLY got this single the other day and a lot of the remixes sound a lot better than the original. I am still digging this song, as proven by it hanging on for another week.
13. May J feat. VERBAL – Here We Go (Last Week #16)

Got May J’s discography. All three singles. Yeah, she’s a newcomer for the most part. Also, just found out she is 19 which is great because I could NOT afford another Hinoi Team situation. May J moves up three more spots and is eying the Top 10. Yes, I know I have this video on every week but look at her. It’s for the male demographic. I have Bi on for the female demographic. I’m fair!
12. John Legend – Save Room (Last Week #11, #1 for five weeks)
Man, this song has been on here for a while. All I can say is that it is good stuff. Could John Legend be the Artist of the Year? Maybe…
11. Yui – Rolling Star (Last Week #14)
Yui is doing well for her first entry onto the Countdown, knocking on the door of the Top 10. I need someone to correct me on this if I’m wrong but is Yui an indie artist? I keep on hearing that and it just seems weird to have an indie artist with two themes for one of the biggest animes on Japanese TV. Just curious. We have made it to the final Top 10 of 2006, peeps! We start off with a lady on the downswing…
10. Nelly Furtado – Maneater (Last Week #7)
My future wife (one of seven) falls three spots this week after two months in the top half. I have to say that now that I watch this video all the time, the is quite the lady. She learned how to dance, to boot. I know that means nothing about nothing, but man she can move a little bit.
9. Young Jeezy – I Love It (Last Week #12)

The Snowman Cometh! To go along with this blizzard, Jeezy moves into the Top 10 for the first time! This video is…just like any other rap video but at least it has a good song behind it.
8. Justin Timberlake feat. T.I. – My Love (Last Week # 5)
After not being able to wrestle the top spot away from UVERworld, Justin and T.I. continue their descent down the chart. T.I. has made his return earlier and reports are that Justin is working on a new video soon! Can life get any better?
7. RBD (Rebelde) – Ser o Parecer (Last Week #10)
Yes. Yes it can. RBD makes a three step hop up the countdown and is looking firmly at the Top 5! I just got Rebels (their English album) and much like J-pop, some things should not be translated. Oooh-lee-eht? What the hell man?! Well, at least Mia sounds hawt in ANY language.
6. UVERworld - Kimi no Suki na Uta (Last Week #3, #1 for four weeks)
After dominating the Countdown for the better part of two months, UVERworld is losing their grip, falling a few spots this week. Despite that, the live version of this song kicks ass. Hope to hear something new from these guys soon.
5. Rain (Bi) – I’m Coming (Last Week # 8)

Yes. YES. YES! HELLS YES!! As I told you before, the Bi/Omarion song kicks ass and the video will be a letter and two words: A PARADIGM SHIFT! The dance moves in that video may create a rip in the space time continuum that will cause a rupture in the fabric of existence itself. Oh, and it will kick ass. Oh, this slipped under the radar but Bi has his second Top 5 (Freeway went to #5 earlier this year).
4. Nelly Furtado – Say It Right (Last Week #6)
Ooooohhhhh, my lady love moves up into the fray for #1. Words cannot describe how much I love this song and dig this woman. Can ‘Say It Right’ do what ‘Maneater’ could not and capture the top spot? We’ll see! Now, we enter the Top Three…
3. Game – Let’s Ride (Last Week #4)

The Game moves up a spot for his second trip in the top three. Last time he got held off by John Legend, can The Game take the top for the West Coast? On another note, I hope ‘Doctors Advocate’ doesn’t end up being like ‘The Doggfather’. Does anyone own that album? It was arguably Snoop’s best work and no one owns it.
2. Bennie K – Joy Trip (Last Week #1, #1 for one week)

So after a week at Number One, Yuki and Cico fall a spot to #2. Third time was the charm for the ladies of Bennie K, with Disco Sempai and Resnou Game failing to reach the top. Even still, I like this video. Holy shit, did you know that Cico had an afro?! Man…I’d still hit that. With the previous champs falling from the top, who holds the belt?
1. John Legend – Heaven (Last Week #2, #1 for one week)

John Legend ends the year at #1 and finishes one week behind UVERworld for the most combined weeks at number one (7-6)! When Grammy nods come out, if John Legend doesn’t have at least four I will be pissed the fuck off. It was the best R&B album by far and should be up for album of the year. Seriously, name another album as good as John’s. Well, at least I give him his respect.

That was the last Top 20 of 2006, peeps! Tune in next Friday for the first Top 20 of 2007! Will John Legend hold on for another week? Or will Bennie K take back their throne? Or can The Game finally hold down the top? Look out, Nelly Furtado, Bi and even RBD are making moves as well. I will be back in a bit later after some Densha Otoko watching.

My god…it makes me want to cry. I am such a damn nerd. Well, I will try to be back this weekend. Stay up, peeps.

Live, Laugh Learn and Love.

The Day The Santa Saved Us From Jesus. Or Something Like That...

Merry Christmas, peeps! Hope everyone is enjoying the day with their families. Kind of a chilly day outside, even still it’s the norm for the CSP so get out and enjoy it! I am going to in a bit. First I wanted to talk about a little something that has been pissing me off.

Booty-Shaking

Now don’t get me wrong. I am ALL ABOUT the booty. As anyone that knows me can attest to, my interests in the ‘fairer’ sex goes:

1. Eyes
2. Personality
3. Booty
4. Sanity (This SHOULD be #1 but yeah, all women are crazy so it gets difficult)

See, I’m not that complex a guy. However, women (and Jamaican dudes) need to learn that the booty is a gift. It is a privilege, not a right. To just shake it in wanton fashion is dangerous to not only you but to AMERICA. Ok, not really but it is getting on my nerves. I mean first off, if you don’t have an ass, don’t do the ‘booty shake’ or ‘booty drop’ or whatever the hell it is called. It’s just bad for everyone involved from those watching to the one doing. Take this for example:

Crazy dancing making my penis soft. Secondly, for what reason is that considered dancing?! Since when was shaking your ass like a dog covered in snow or considered dancing? I know you have seen it if you are over the age of 21 or ever watched a music video. I complain about this a lot but now it has gotten out of hand.

When I was at Sing-Sing last Friday, there were middle-aged women doing the booty shake. Now I reiterate, I love the ass and it is your own personal business. That being said, the booty shake is the dumbest….and I MEAN DUMBEST dance ever. What exactly are you showing off, ladies? Are you showing your dance prowess? Congratulations you can move your hips like Paola Rey. For the love of god, kids don’t look that name up. This isn’t a family blog. For the adult males, GOOD STUFF. I’m just saying. All that is is sexual innuendo. Now if that is the vibe you are trying to give off that’s cool. However don’t think that anyone is impressed with your dancing skills if that is the only move you know. BET UnCut has been cancelled so your ass cant get a job in a music video. Except for maybe an Akon video.

Good god, if it wasn’t for T-Pain he would be the king of all ugly. Since when is sexually accosting a chair dancing? WHEN?! Who in the fuck let this happen?! Remember back when Bobby Brown, Oaktown 357 and Janet Jackson actually danced? Even now, Janet is the best DANCER of any female (and to a certain extent male) artist out. Dancing has now become Caligula to a pop beat. Oh, back to the booty shaking issue. I guess my main issue is the fact that people are trying to legitimize this as a movement for women with curves. Well, I am all for curvy women (I hate skinny bitches except Mandy Moore)but I am against stupidity.

Women saying that shaking it like you are trying to break it is empowering is like those that say taking bitch back takes away its power. No, it’s not ‘porch monkey’ peeps. Shaking your ass like they do in the videos isn’t vindication. It’s slutty. What is even worse is that much like thongs, women think that just because they are women that they have the ability (or right) to do the dance. Well, I have the RIGHT to wear a wifebeater shirt as clothing. However, I know it isn’t an article of clothing and I respect my fellow human being (too much in my opinion since they don’t respect their fucking selves) enough to not wear one outside without covering it. Remember, it is an UNDERSHIRT. If you don’t have rhythm or an ass, don’t do the dance. If you have rhythm and an ass, do the dance but don’t expect to see someone look at you as more than an object. Because by doing the dance, you objectify the area and then become faceless. So you are objectifying YOURSELF and if a man stares (or records and posts on YouTube which seems to be the thing as of late) at your ass then it is your own fault and you lose the right to be upset. That peeps is logic. Consider it my Christmas gift to you. Oh, and wearing any kind of writing on your ass draws attention. Do you look at billboards? Use the same logic.

My next rant will be on…

THUGS!

Yeah, they have had it coming for a while. Until then, enjoy your Christmas Day! Even the Jews….

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Peeps!

So...You Know Santa Hates Children, Right?

One more day, peeps! One more day until Christmas and needless to say…I’m rather indifferent. Christmas stopped being special to me when I found out that Santa used child labor (Those little dudes ain’t midgets, they are orphans!) so I hope you guys enjoy it. Aside from the eggnog (the best of all the ‘nogs), football and the ‘santa tramp’ dresses (‘Tis the season to fill the cup! One of the few outfits I think is saucy) I just run the same as usual during this season. I’m not a Scrooge, just keeping it stat quo.

So first things first, I believe I have a new restaurant/hangout. As you know, On The Border was AB2’s Peach Pit. That is the hangout from 90210. If you don’t know that, then kiss my ass because 90210 ruled ALL. Anyway, after ‘The Engagement Tattoo Incident’ we came to the conclusion that it wasn’t okay to have that be our ‘Arnolds’ because the waitresses weren’t down with being told opinions if they asked. Be ready to hear the truth, peeps. It’s a fact of fucking life. Get over the IPS and run with it. I don’t CARE if you do yoga. If you aren’t engaged and you ain’t from India, you don’t need a fucking INDIAN ENGAGEMENT TATTOO!!. I love Japan and want to make music, that doesn’t mean I get a tattoo of Kumi Koda or Ai Otsuka on my ass. Which I should, because getting a Meatloaf one doesn’t flatter the region if you get my drift. But I am getting off topic (Like there is EVER one?!)

So it was narrowed down to the On The Border by the Broadmoor (which is FAAAAAAAR) or someplace else. Well, Nick and I found the ‘someplace else’ and it is called Ruby Tuesdays. The ladies at Ruby Tuesday’s are quite the nice AND can take a joke. So from this point on, the crew will be chillin at the RT grubbin on some cheese sticks and sippin’ strawberry-lemonade (Which I had never had, no shittin. That is good drinking!) if you want autographs or a short acapella performance. Hit us up!

Well, the first thing I want to talk about is next summer. Since the present is irritating for me, it makes me feel better to talk about the future. Next summer we have a MULTITUDE of blockbuster movies coming out. Although this year was good (Pirates 2, Clerks 2, Accepted, Snakes on a Plane, X-Men 3 and the list…ends there for the most part) next year makes me want to actually camp out. Spiderman 3, Pirates 3, Fantastic Four 2 (I’m just kidding, keeping the peeps on their toes and all). The movie I am TRULY scared about is Transformers. I have seen the trailers and heard the hype and I am optimistic but fearful. Mainly because every cartoon I have ever loved as a kid has turned to shit on the big screen. Masters of the Universe? SHIT (Although the synthesizer WAS kind of cool, I will admit). GI Joe the movie? COBRA-CRAP-CRAP-CRAP-CRAP-CRAP-CRAP-CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!! The track record is BAD.

However, I just saw the next trailer and it looks interesting. Mainly because of the “Michael Bay Law of Explosions’ that means anything and everything can and will blow up at a whim. This trailer is in full screen so if you have a slow computer good luck. As you can see, it LOOKS bad ass. So did the first Fantastic Four (Although in defense, Jessica Alba in underwear is worth a watch of ANYTHING. Yes, she and I had a falling out but we are still friends. Friends that hide outside her window crying and writing poetry.) and The Hulk and we saw how those turned out. Or didn’t because we fell asleep. Either way, I am impressed visually. Oh, and check out the My Little Pony at the end, fool! My Little Pony 4 LIFE!! WHAT?!

Well, I hope all of you enjoy your Christmas tomorrow! I will be back on Friday or Saturday since this is the end of the Denver Experiment. I will work on the year end post this week. Until then, stay up peeps!

Live, Laugh, Learn and Love.

Life Is A Boat. Wow, That Is Totally Lame.

Alrighty, peeps. The Chachi is back with an announcement. *Sigh* here is goes. I quit my job last week. I kept it quiet until Monday from my co-workers because…well I will tell the people when I damn well please. Besides, there are some people that can kiss my fucking ass that I could care less whether they found out or could give a rats ass. Hey, I’m a rude guy. Inside joke.

Needless to say, it is time to vent. I have only had 3 real jobs since I graduated from high school (1998) so I have a pretty reliable job history. Even though there have been parts about my job I didn’t like, I was able to grin and bear it because I liked my co-workers (Gateway) or liked what I did (HP). At my last job…holy shit was it annoying. First off was the drive. I never blame anyone else for that because it was my own decision. That was all me, and I take ownership for the cost of repairs of my car and the $180 a month to take a bus to Denver five days a week. Albeit the wheel fell off the bus (literally, the funniest shit I have ever seen and I watched Pootie Tang) it was not ALL that bad.

However, four hours (on a GOOD DAY) in transit a day is overbearing. I was tired by the time I got to work (got on the bus at 5:30 AM, got in at about 7:30 AM) and was tired at work because it was work. And BOY WAS IT ANNOYING. I understand that there is standard corporate lines you have to pull but come on. Respect my mind. I just have to do what you as, not buy into it. If you sell shit and you treat people like shit, they will act accordingly. They will rail into you like Burlington-Santa Fe because you are the face of all the bullshit they have had to incur from their local company. I am not going to put on a face for the company, I am going to be real and say ‘Yes, we fucked you up the ass with a cactus for two years. This is how I am going to fix it.’ It got annoying to say ‘tough shit’ all the time just because the company was full of fucktards that felt as long as we can take from them we will until they find out. Once they do, we will play stupid. Yeah, I am dead serious.

Anyway, that is water under the bridge. The biggest issue I have is the drinking. As many of you know (or like five people because I only have six friends and Jen doesn’t have the internet OR A COMUPTER because she fears the future or something. Just kidding, she’s my homie) I began to party HARD while working in D-Town. I found out after the fact probably a little too hard. As someone who only drank occasionally (like twice a year IF THAT until November of 2005) it was a total shock to drink as much as I did over the timeframe of May until August. It was literally every Friday and the occasional weekday that I would wake up on Rick’s couch (or floor) wondering ‘Why in the hell did I have that tenth drink?’ or ‘Why in the hell was I dancing? I hate dancing!’ Now that I have stopped the heavy liquor lifting (I had a few at the Christmas party at Sing-Sing, to which I say FUCK AXL ROSE!) since my birthday I feel a lot better about myself and it let me reflect on my current situation. I figured it was best for me to do what I always tell people to do:

‘Chalk it up as a loss and charge it to the game’ E-40

Yes, I quoted E-40 the man is A GENIUS! So I cut my losses and am going for something else. I learned a lot while working at this job, although very fucking little about WORK itself. I learned a lot about myself. Oh, and as you can tell I learned a lot about the opposite sex and their insanity because my rants every time were about women. Now A LOT of that was alcohol. That is a given because my BAC during those months was probably the same as rum. Still, there was a lot of learning in those inebriated posts. I’m to lazy to transfer them over to MySpace, so if you are reading on there just go to my Blogger page and check out June, July and August. A lot of what I said was mean-spirited but none of it was wrong. I realized I am going to be lonely for a LOOOOONG time because I am not willing to compromise my views just to get the yak. If you don’t know what that means….I don’t know what to do with you. Anyway, I want to thank all of you for the memories. The good and the crappy. Oh, and I will never have another mojito. Trust me, peeps. It is a GOOD THING I say that.

Well, I will try to be up on Christmas. If not, Happy Holidays everybody! Even the Irish. Yes, THE IRISH. I’m in a giving mood, its Christmas and all.

Ladies First!

Morning, peeps! It is Friday which means it is the end of this crappy ass work week! You know what else happens today? The…

Chachi Top 20 Video Countdown!

First, lets start with Bubbling Under! This video came out on Tuesday so I couldn’t in good faith put it ahead of anything on the Countdown. YET. Okay, I bash rap a lot and I DESPISE the bragging about money (Mainly because I am broke. I will explain later) but man…this song is bangin. I hate myself, too. But hey, it is T.I. so it can’t be all that bad.

T.I. feat Young Jeezy, Young Dro, Big Kuntry and B.G. – Top Back (Remix)

Yeah, I don’t know why but that song is on re-fucking-peat. Next we have Flow. Now if you watch Naruto (I mean the fansubbed version, I’m not sure how far Cartoon Network has gotten and don’t care because the English voices kind of annoy the shit out of me) you know about Flow. They made the 3rd (I think, may have been fourth) opening GO!! [Fighting Dreamers] which was cool. Then they did the 8th (Hell, may have been 20th for all I know) opening Re:member which if it wasn’t for the Big Four (UVERworld, John Legend, Nelly Furtado and T.I.) it would be the song of the year because it KICKS FUCKING ASS! They have a new (Kind of) single for Colors. Having picked up the Greatest Singles album, I am impressed with their body of work. Check out their latest, it’s the intro from Code Geass, which I cannot find.

Flow – Colors

See, I even hit up the subtitled version for the peeps. It’s the season of giving, fools! WHAT?! Let’s get to the Countdown!

We start this week how we ended last week; a hip hop icon….

20. Jay Z – Give Me What You Got (Last Week # 17)
Well J-Hov is on his way out of the Top 20. It has been an interesting ride, with a quick rise and an even quicker fall. This was one of those videos that kind of lost its luster the more I saw it.
19. Omarion – Ice Box (New Entry)

Okay, I know I have said a lot of mean things about Omarion since…well college. Even still, I like this video. YES, I know he thinks he is Michael Jackson. YES, I know he is not better dancer than Usher, J Tim or Bi. However, this beat is rather crazy and I digs it. Therefore, it makes a debut this week.
18. JoJo – Too Little, Too Late (Last Week #14)
So the jailbait is finally leaving the countdown. Although I still like this song (and her new video is kind of crappy) I like my freedom a lot more. And if my infatuation with Hayden taught me anything, it is that just like Fabolous, there is no sitting on minors. Never again will I quote Fabolous. I promise.
17. Nas – Hip Hop Is Dead (Last Week #17)
So Nasty Nas takes a three step hop up the countdown. I have heard some of the tracks off his new album and they aren’t bad. Nowhere near Illmatic (Although I think I am one of the few people that’s didn’t think it was the best hip hop album ever) but it was a good listen. This is also Nas’s best video by far. Mainly because after Hate Me Now and whatever in the fuck ‘Thief’s Theme’ was about anything would be good.
16. May J feat. VERBAL – Here We Go (Last Week #18)

Hells yeah. So I found another video from May J called ‘Baby Eyes’. Although it is old, she is hot so it doesn’t matter. This video has grown on me and grown on some of the co-workers that have seen it. And she is legal! Can this day get any better?!
15. Bowling For Soup – High School Never Ends (Last Week #10, Plunge of the Week)
WHAT?! Yeah, I am shocked too, but it’s a case of other stuff I like better right now. That and I think they have a new single out.
14. Yui – Rolling Star (Last Week #16)
So on a note completely unrelated, Bleach is so kicking ass right now. Anyone know what is up with the new intro? Is that from the movie? If so it looks pretty damn sweet. Anyway, Yui moves up two spaces this week. Yeah, call me crazy but I would hit that.
13. Pushim, RHYMESTER, HOME MADE KAZOKU, MABOROSHI, May J – I Say Yeah (Last Week #12)
So the J-Hip Hop party falls a little bit this week. Luckily I still get my May J fix from her own video. Even still, it only falls one spot this week.
12. Young Jeezy – I Love It (Last Week #15)

Young Jeezy continues to move up the Top 20. Oh, and I just saw T.I.’s ‘Top Back’ remix with Young Jeezy and everyone else from Atlanta with a pulse. And B.G. but I thought the Gizzle was dead. Anyway, expect to see that song on here real soon, but until then Jeezy holds down the chart.
11. John Legend – Save Room (Last Week #9, #1 for five weeks)
For the first time in almost three months, John Legend is out of the Top 10. It was an awesome run (even better than UVERworld’s which is a feat in itself) and as usual John Legend makes his videos not look like everyone else’s.
10. RBD (Rebelde) – Ser o Parecer (Last Week #13)

THE ENGLISH ALBUM IS IN STORES NOW! That is all. Get it our you will be forsaken! Oh man…I think I just filled the cup.
9. Soul’d Out – Starlight Destiny (Last Week # 7)
Soul’d Out falls two more spots this week. I am patiently waiting for a new video from Diggy Mo and crew, but until then this one will have to do. Just got back to listening to ‘Alive’ and it has grown on my. I initially didn’t like that song.
8. Rain (Bi) – I’m Coming (Last Week # 11, Biggest Mover)
So Bi has his THIRD Top Ten video in 4 months. That is quite the feat if I say so myself. My standards are pretty high. Have you seen a K-Fed video on here? Hell no and you never will. Check out Bi’s album ‘Rains World’. It is actually pretty good once you get past the language barrier.
7. Nelly Furtado – Maneater (Last Week #6)
The first half of a double play! Maneater falls another spot this week and I must say…think video makes me feel good. In THAT way. Too bad Nelly is so skinny or I would so wreck that chick. Eh, I still would. Who am I kidding.
6. Nelly Furtado – Say It Right (Last Week #8)

Just a stones throw from the Top 5 again, it is my new favorite song. This video is actually rather basic, although I cant even FIND IT! I keep on getting her live performance which is actually a lot better. My god, I love her eyes. Just…striking. Is that a word that fits? Yeah, I can dig it.
5. Justin Timberlake feat. T.I. – My Love (Last Week # 3)
NOOOOO!! J-Tim falls another two places this week! T.I. will be back with the ‘Top Back’ remix, but Justin has nothing on the horizon! Man, he is ending the year on a down note. Anyway, he still hangs in there.
4. Game – Let’s Ride (Last Week #7)
Once again, The Game hits the Top Five. This song was cool up until mother nature got surprise sexed or something because it has been too cold to have the windows down and bump this for about three weeks now. Even still, I have the video on rotation at work. Now it is time for the Top Three! We start off with a shocker…
3. UVERworld - Kimi no Suki na Uta (Last Week #1, #1 for four weeks)

UVERworld’s reign is over! After four weeks they fall short of topping John Legend’s record of five weeks at the top. Even still, it was a hell of a run and is still the song on my MySpace page. Well, we have a new number one this week! Who takes the runner up position?
2. John Legend – Heaven (Last Week #4)

One step short, peeps. John Legend moves up two spots to take the silver medal for the week. It is nice to see more people down with John Legend because this song and video are very good. Not only that, it isn’t R.Kelly. Anything without R.Kelly is cool with me. So with John Legend coming up short, who has taken the Number One spot?
1. Bennie K – Joy Trip (Last Week #2, #1 for one week)

After a long trip (Heh, because it is called Joy Trip…I thought it was funny), Bennie K finally rests at Number One! This video, just like the song, has grown on me to the point that it is the most played video on my laptop. Not only that, this is the first non-John Legend/UVERworld song at #1 in more than two months. Congrats to the saucy ladies of Bennie K for topping the chart this week!

That is all for this cold ass week, peeps! Will Bennie K hold on to Number One for the final Top 20 of 2006? Or will John Legend get his second crown? Or will The Game finally capture the flag? Tune in next Friday, peeps! I will be back later before I finish up my Christmas shopping.

A Little Learnin' Goes A Long Way!

What’s up, peeps! It is time for a mid-day update! Why? Because I FUCKING CAN, that’s why! Yeah, you know it. So today is the first week of the rest of my life and I must say that I am kind of excited. Seeing as how life is too short to be doing what you aren’t comfortable with it is nice to be able to….holy shit, May J is hot. Sorry, I just can’t think when she comes on.

Anyway, what was I babbling about? Doesn’t matter. I learned something today. People are stupid. REAL stupid. Now I have done my share of dumb things and I can admit that. However, it seems that most people nowadays are more fucktard-ish than they used to be. Is that a word? Eh, it is now. People no matter what the race have become utter and complete morons lately. What makes me so bitter, especially today? Well I just heard someone call for their daughter. And her name was Cristal. Not CRYSTAL. CRISTAL. Like the fucking alcohol. I had heard that as a name for a stripper, but never as a name for a child. A real child, not one of those adopted kids like Angelina Jolie has. American kids, the ones that matter. Needless to say, I was confused and angry at the same time. So I have decided to help out the lesser knowledgeable peeps. So here is a new installment to the Passion of Chachi….

SOME TO GROW ON!!

With this I will give some info that SHOULD be common sense but obviously is NOT if I have to post about it. Some of it may be redundant to those that are readers (all five of you) but repetition is key.

1. DO NOT Name Your Kids After Liquor or Groceries.
This SHOULD be common sense. After today’s incident it obviously is NOT. So if when you have a child and you are thinking about naming the kid Alize or Dijon please just set the child down and walk the fuck away. Seriously, how do you expect for that child to ever get taken seriously by anyone not working at Scores or for G-Unit Records? I am not saying to name your child Winthrop or Janice (To show I don’t mean to name your kids white sounding names to get ahead) but seriously. IT IS A FUCKING MUSTARD! YOUR CHILD IS NAMED AFTER A CONDIMENT! These are a list of names to NOT GIVE YOUR KIDS:

Lysterine (I have seen it. I can’t make this up)
Dijon (It is mustard. Not Exotic. Deal with it)
Cristal (Or Alize or Hennessy or Crown Royal or any other alcohol. It is just fucking ignorant)
Any letter or word preceeding ‘Ron’ or ‘Von’. De’Ron, Kel’Ron, De’Von, She’Von are not names unless you are from fucking Krypton. And your ass ain’t from Krypton.
Names From The Bible. No specific reason. I am just getting tired of seeing Ezikiel and Jebediah every-fucking-where. You don’t see people naming their kids Buddha or Tao, do you?

Esquire or The Third. I am a junior and I think that shit is pretentious as hell. Refering to yourself with an ‘Esquire’ or ‘III’ is grounds for getting your ass whooped. It is just arrogant as far as I am concerned. And I am one man so if you don’t like it piss off.
Colors or Fruit. Colors are what they say they are: colors. Naming your child Blue or Apple (Gweneth Paltrow I am looking at your simple ass) is just dumb. Celebrity child or not, that kid is in for a world of hurt. Or at least drug addiction.

2. DON’T ENDORSE DOUBLE STANDARDS!
This is especially sent out to women. Men are guilty of this mindfuck, too. I will get into that later though. It seems that the rant I had in college about women not understanding that until they stop supporting degrading songs they will keep on coming in droves has fallen on deaf ears. Anyone heard our little African friend Akon lately? First off, a Lamborghini Gallardo is WASTED in America. WASTED! Secondly, when in the HELL did it okay for a guy to say they want to bend you over and ‘smack that’ all on the floor. I am going to humor this song and figure he is talking about an ass (rather than let’s say a woman’s FACE) for a minute. Is that okay just because he is rich? Is that all it takes to be able to slap a woman’s ass for no other reason in public? If a man just slapped an ass for no reason he would be thrown out. But this song comes out and every chicks inner-Jasmine Byrne comes out and they go all Backdoor Sluts 9. I would figure that slapping an ass would be great, but instead I just think it is kind of…offensive? I dunno, that act has been kind of odd to me. It reminds me more of disciple than sexy.

Oh, and the whole DANCING LIKE A STRIPPER THING?! Ladies, leave it to the strippers. You will talk shit about strippers for dancing for money, yet most women dance the SAME way and only get maybe a few free drinks, a night full of regret and maybe a crab or two. The way that women look down on strippers (and porn stars is another rant altogether) for what they do when 65%-70% of women DO THE SAME THING FOR NO CURRENCY is hypocritical and priceless. I never make fun of the dude that will act gay to hang out with females (because that dude was me by accident a few years ago because everyone thought I was gay for wearing shoes that matched my belt) so why do women have nothing positive to say about a stripper? It is just funny.

Well, that is enough for now. No update tomorrow due to me taking part in the United States judicial system. I will try to be back on Wednesday or Thursday before the Countdown. If not, I will see you Friday, peeps!

It Ain't All Bad

What's up, peeps? Just got back in from getting a few gifts (I am low on funds until Friday) for Christmas and all I can say is it is fucking cold outside. There is no need for this. Al Gore needs to be locked in a frat house doused in Axe Body Spray.

Well, it is a week before Christmas and I am so not excited. This year has SUCKED ASS for the most part. Even still, it hasnt been my worst year (2002 sucked a hell of a lot more) so I can't trip that much. I have a lot more friends now. I also have more people that I wish would get beat with a bat, mainly female to boot. Eh, thems the facts of life.

So I did something that was a long time coming last week, and that really let off a lot of stress for me. It gets to the point where you have to do things to save you sanity and I made an according decision. In the end, it is for the better because someone was about to get their ass whooped if I hadnt done what I did. I had become that pissed off with the situation. I will go more into detail later on, but those that know the Chachi know what is going down.

On a completely unrelated note, Koda Kumi has a new album out, Black Cherry. I am about two songs into it and it isnt bad. I also got Flow's Golden Coast and that kicks ass. Even though they are kind of known for doing the Naruto openings (GO!! and Re:member) they have some other great songs (and I mean GREAT) and it is up there with John Legend and Nelly Furtado as my favorite albums of the year.

I will try to have a rant at some point this week, probably about jury duty seeing as I have it this week. Aaahhh, the joys of being an American. Stay up peeps.

Live, Laugh, Learn and Love.

You Won't Have ME To Kick Around Anymore!

Alright peeps, it is Friday morning so you know what that means! It is time for….

Chachi’s Top 20 Video Countdown!

Some interesting movement, we start with the debut of a hip hop icon…

20. Nas – Hip Hop Is Dead (New Entry)

Yeah, Nasir Jones is back. I have said it once, I will say it again. Nas is either fantastic or fantastically bad. This song is actually pretty damn good and the video is kind of original. He already used this sample for ‘Thief’s Theme’ but I like this song better.
19. UVERworld - Shamrock (Last Week #16, #1 for three weeks)
Man, the ride is almost over for Shamrock. After being on the Countdown since the beginning, this is odds are the final week for this song being on the Top 20. It’s sad, because I was jamming to this song on the way to work this morning. This song still rules. Will it be the song of the year? Find out on December 30th for my year end post!
18. May J feat. VERBAL – Here We Go (Last Week #20)
So this single gets released next week. If anyone out there is planning on getting me a gift, this would be a great gift idea. Not sure when (or even IF) she will be releasing an album, but DAMN I want it.
17. Jay Z – Give Me What You Got (Last Week # 14)
So ‘Lost Ones’ isn’t all that bad. This song has begun to grate my nerves after hearing it EVERYWHERE. I am beginning to not hate ‘Kingdom Come’ as much, although there are a lot of average tracks on it.
16. Yui – Rolling Star (Last Week #18)

Yeah, this song rules. Seeing as how I haven’t seen Bleach since episode 104, this song has been my only link to it. I just watched her live Unplugged show and yeah, I’m a fan. She was performing a lot of songs I can’t find, though. I am digging the Matrix effects in this video, too.
15. Young Jeezy – I Love It (Last Week #17)
So I guess Jeezy and Nas are beefing now. Man, this is just sad. Every four minutes rappers are acting stupid for the sake of being fucking stupid. Hopefully it doesn’t go any farther than just yapping because I have no time to hear 90 mixtape tracks about this shit.
14. JoJo – Too Little, Too Late (Last Week #10)
Slowly making her way down, JoJo slides another four spots. I actually still listen to this song every now and then and I realized that she is only 15. A little too young to be talking about this stuff. Britney’s trifling ass maybe. JoJo needs to go back to class.
13. RBD (Rebelde) – Ser o Parecer (Last Week #15)

Yeah, you know it. Celestial is the album of the year! No, not really but it kicks ass. Can I say that when I go to Albertacos or Monica’s Taco Shop and have this playing I think they don’t appreciate it. They probably spit in my food. GET YOUR OWN MUSIC, GRINGOS!
12. Pushim, RHYMESTER, HOME MADE KAZOKU, MABOROSHI, May J – I Say Yeah (Last Week #12)
This song stays pat this week. It is in that weird limbo phase where there are other songs that I just like a little bit better. That and each of these artist (sans MABOROSHI) have solo songs out right now which I am listening to. Since May J is in the video, it doesn’t fall because…you know. I love her and all.
11. Rain (Bi) – I’m Coming (Last Week # 13)

Wow, Bi is looking for his 3rd Top Ten video in the short time I have been doing this. That is quite the accomplishment for someone I really didn’t listen to months ago. Not only that, he has had three kick ass singles put two that didn’t make it because I liked the others SO MUCH. Well, too bad the reason I know of him pisses me off or he would be artist of the year.
10. Bowling For Soup – High School Never Ends (Last Week #9)
So this video falls a spot, mainly because of lack of listening to it. I have been all about a few other songs (mainly a certain song by Nelly Furtado) so this track has fallen to the wayside. That doesn’t take away from it being COMPELETELY TRUE.
9. John Legend – Save Room (Last Week #6, #1 for five weeks)
STILL HOLDING ON, BABY! Save room for John Legend for at least another week in the Top 10. Much like UVERworld, John Legend defines the Countdown for the most part. That and this album rules all.
8. Nelly Furtado – Say It Right (Last Week #11)

HELLS YEAH!! Listening to this right now and man Timbaland is on his game in 2006. Between this and Ice Box by Omarion he has two of my favorite songs out right now. Not only that…Nelly Furtado is hot. REAL HAWT. I say that a lot but it is damn true.
7. Soul’d Out – Starlight Destiny (Last Week # 5)
NOOOO!! Diggy Mo and company fall even more this week! They really need a new video out. I like this song but…I am in need of much more. MO’ DIGGY MO!
6. Nelly Furtado – Maneater (Last Week #4)
Nelly Furtado’s second song on the Countdown and I must say it has been a great year for her as well. This song is a little too catchy for me (I have been humming it all morning) but that is kind of a good thing. She still moves down two places, though.
5. Game – Let’s Ride (Last Week #7)

You know, I am not a fan of hip hop like I used to be (it has officially fallen behind J-Pop after the Jeezy/Nas fiasco) but The Game has put together a good year and has two great runs on the Countdown this year with ‘One Blood’ making it to #2. Maybe hip hop ISN’T dead!
4. John Legend – Heaven (Last Week #8, Biggest Mover)
So John Legend jumps four more spaces to give him his second Top 5 video. This song has really begun to grow on me and along with Omarion (WHO FUCKING SAW THAT COMING!) is really making R&B somewhat tolerable again. Let’s hope that Musiq comes out soon to wash the pain of the impending R. Kelly album away.
3. Justin Timberlake feat. T.I. – My Love (Last Week # 2)

After a vicious battle for the Number One Spot, J. Tim and T.I. fail to wrestle the crown away after two weeks. On another note, where in the hell is another T.I. single?! I think that ‘Get It’ would be a pretty kick ass video, seeing as it is one of the few times Swizz Beats aint saving money by looking a line to make a hook. Since Justin only has two singles left from his album, let’s hope for ‘Chop It Up’ featuring the Three Six Mafia. It’s a Tennessee thang, fools!
2. Bennie K – Joy Trip (Last Week #3)

So Bennie K is the next contender to the throne of the Chachi Top 20! After a long road (10 weeks) they move up to the number two spot. Holy crap, this song just came on the play list. Shit, that is coincidence for your ass. I know it is J-Country (and I fucking can’t stand country for the most part) but this song is quite the catchy. Well, with a new number two that means the reigning champ still rules your asses for another week…
1. UVERworld - Kimi no Suki na Uta (Last Week #1, #1 for four weeks)

The champ is HERE! Between Shamrock and Kimi no Suki na Uta, UVERworld has been at the top for a total of 7 weeks. That is a quarter of the time this Countdown has been going on (don’t forget, I started this in September)! Can you say dynasty? Jay-Z has nothing on UVER-Chan!

Well, that is all for this week! It’s almost the end of the year peeps, who will be champ when the year ends? Can UVERworld tie John Legend for the most consecutive weeks at number one with their fifth week in a row? Or will Bennie K take their place as Queens of the Countdown? Or will Justin and T.I. bounce back and take over the top spot? Don’t forget, The Game, Nelly Furtado, John Legend and even RBD are making fast moves toward the top so stay tuned! The new year should be exciting!

Well, the Chachi is out for now. I will be back later (maybe this weekend) due so some hootenanny I need to attend. The days are just packed. Stay up, peeps.

On The Road Again!

WHAT IS UP, PEEPS! It is Friday and I am on vacation! That means no driving to the demon's anus to go to the turd building. Those that know, look at it and tell me it DOESNT look like a turd.

In a new installment to the Chachi Top 20 Countdown, here are a few videos that didn’t make it on due to time or ain’t hit the rotation full blast yet. Here we have a few videos that are….

BUBBLIN’ UP!!!

First we have the new video from Nas. Yes, I can still tolerate Nas. I STILL rate him above Jay-Z because Nas never has a REALLY shitty song but rarely has mind-blowers. Jay-Z is either mind-blowing or crap. This video is bad ass and the song is actually a legit argument for the awkward state of hip-hop, which is stagnant.

Hip Hop Is Dead by Nas:

Good stuff.

Next we have Koda Kumi. Yes, I know my love affair with her has ended after the bottle rape that was Cherry Girl but this song rules. I guess it’s a theme from Amazing Nuts, an anime that actually looks pretty good. Check it out, it may be on the Top 20 soon.

Twinkle by Koda Kumi:

If anyone knows anything about Amazing Nuts, let me know. Get your minds out of the gutter, peeps!

Finally we have the newest video from Ludacris. Now I have a weird dynamic with this dude. I even remember Incognegro (yes…you read that right) and always thought that he was pretty good, but just made some shitty songs. Money Maker PISSED ME OFF TO NO END and Grew Up 2 Screw Up had Young Jeezy so it ruled all so I was bugging about buying his latest album. However, it seems that hip hop CAN be Shakespear because Runaway Love isn’t bad. Its not a forced song with a message but luckily there are no Phantom’s or Grillz so it is okay by me. That and Mary J. Blige doesn’t make me want to beat a kitten anymore.

Runaway Love by Ludacris feat. Mary J Blige:

Keep an eye out, peeps. Now, time to begin the…

CHACHI’S TOP 20 COUNTDOWN!!

Lets start with a new entry…
20. May J feat. VERBAL – Here We Go (New Entry)

So we begin with May J. If you haven’t heard ofher…join the club. Up until about a month ago, I had no idea who in the hell she was. Now I a know and…is niiiiice. Not only that, VERBAL is back on the scene! What is he now, 35? Eh, still a nice song. Even the dancing aint too bad.
19. Bennie K feat. Tsuyoshi – Rensou Game (Last Week # 17)
Alas, Rensou Game is almost out of here. To make me feel better, the ladies of Bennie K have release a remake of The Rolling Stones ‘Satisfaction’ as a B-side to Joy Trip. It actually KICKS ASS!
18. Yui – Rolling Star (New Entry)

So…I’d hit that. I don’t know WHY, but Yui has the whole Michelle Branch thing going for her. Something about a woman with an acoustic guitar makes me happy in pants. Not oly that, Yui is actually pretty talented. And if you have seen her MTV Diary (yes, MTV Japan has shitty shows, too) she is actually kind of…well sexy. Never thought I’d say THAT. Oh, and she is in a movie too. Just downloaded it, I will tell you how it is next week.
17. Young Jeezy – I Love It (Last Week #20)
I am actually heading out right now to get this CD. If Young Jeezy puts in a little more work (and gets past the whole ‘Snowman’ thing) he could be the next Scarface. He actually has that much talent. Let’s get it!
16. UVERworld - Shamrock (Last Week #12, #1 for three weeks)

Man, this song has been on here FOREVER! And rightfully so because UVERworld RULES ALL! It is nice to see others understand the awesomeness that is the ‘World. Although the Bleach train is on full for on Cartoon Network (I called THAT SHIT six months ago) it will help them out a lot when the second season rolls around, odds are this spring/early summer. D-Technolife will BLOW AMERICA’S MIND when it hits. Even Orange Range is getting a boost in American popularity, and Asterisk isn’t even their best work. Could be a big year for UVERworld, and I cant wait.
15. RBD (Rebelde) – Ser o Parecer (Last Week #18)
Yeah, so the same thing for UVERworld goes for RBD as well. If you don’t like Rebelde they you are a FRICKING FOOL because aside from Diego, they are ‘teh awesome’. The video for this song is…out there but still it is pretty damn good. AND BUY THE ALBUM!!
14. Jay Z – Give Me What You Got (Last Week # 9, Plunge of the Week)
So Jay-Z begins a quick fall down the Countdown. It’s a shame too, I was expecting A LOT from Kingdom Come. ’Lost Ones’ is the new single and it isn’t bad.
13. Rain (Bi) – I’m Coming (Last Week # 15)

What more can I say about this guy. He finally cut his fucking hair (goddamn hippie!) and his music has changed, too. Oh, and pelvic thrusts. Can’t underestimate the effectiveness of pelvic thrusts.
12. Pushim, RHYMESTER, HOME MADE KAZOKU, MABOROSHI, May J – I Say Yeah (Last Week #13)
So this song has thouraglly grown on me. I kind of liked it at first, now it is completely awesome. I even had to make a new Duece Mix because of it. That and May J has taken over the space in my heart reserved for Kumi Koda. Yes…first Hayden now Ms. Koda is out of my life. I guess I’m growing up. Or finally abiding by the restraining order, one of the two.
11. Nelly Furtado – Say It Right (Last Week #14)
Okay, it seems that everyone loves this song. Although either Jen or I knew the words (Either you don’t…eat a scone? On a cone? Dogs like bones?) we still digs it. It is moving up rather quickly, too. We now enter the Top 10 and we begin with a falling artist…
10. JoJo – Too Little, Too Late (Last Week #7)

After a Top Five sting JoJo is slowly moving down. She premired a new video for How To Touch A Girl (O_o) and so we may see that on here. Or not, I don’t need jail time seeing as how often I talk about Hinoi Team. It is just….just not smart if you catch my drift.
9. Bowling For Soup – High School Never Ends (Last Week #11)
The truest song about life to ever be made since ‘Take This Job And Shove It’. Oh, and they finally are taking Val Kilmer to task for being gay. Seriously, peeps. We all saw Top Gun, or as I call it the first homoerotic blockbuster. He and Tom Cruise were this close to ‘going into the danger zone’ on screen. You know what I mean.
8. John Legend – Heaven (Last Week #10)
Slowly but surely, John Legend is making his ascent to the top. Save Room took 6 weeks to hit Number One, so it takes a minute. This song is now on rotation in the deck, I will let you know the good news later.
7. Game – Let’s Ride (Last Week #8)
The West Coast is BACK! Well, its pretty much just The Game and E-40 but still. It’s BACK! Oh, and Snoop Dogg’s old ass. Holy crap, it that really it from the West Coast? The Hyphy Movement lasted all of a FUCKING DAY and it kind of kicks ass. Man, hip hop works my nerves. Still, a great rolling track, although it is NINE FUCKING DEGREES all the time.
6. John Legend – Save Room (Last Week #5, #1 for five weeks)

The longest reigning Number 1 is STILL hanging on to the Top 10. Go buy John Legend’s album. It’s good stuff and let’s face it, you owe it to yourself. It’s got nice grooves and isn’t Paris Hilton’s album. And we ALL KNOW how awesomely shitty that piece of shit was.
5. Soul’d Out – Starlight Destiny (Last Week # 4)
I keep on hearing that Soul’d Out has a new single but I will believe it when I hear it. Until then, Soul’d Out moves down a spot but still stays in the Top 5.
4. Nelly Furtado – Maneater (Last Week #3)
Nelly Furtado drops one more spot after spending a FULL MONTH at #2. Any one noticed that Nelly has become a LOT better dancer since her last album? Before her dancing was like…well MINE after a few rum and cokes. Now she actually has rhythm. She is leaps and bounds ahead of Namie Amuro (I’m sorry, she looks robotic STILL) and Koda Kumi (Yes, she can dance but so can strippers. It isn’t the same, and it hurts me inside because Kumi and I had a thing) but she is still no BoA. Few things are, though. Mmmmm….BoA.
3. Bennie K – Joy Trip (Last Week #6)

HELLS YEAH! Bennie K moves into the Top 3 for the first time! My lady loves are fighting for the Top Spot! And my heart. On a bed with pillows. Wearing bare bellied Vick jerseys and pajama shorts. Yeah…touch her hair….HELLS YEAH. Oh yeah, Top Three and stuff. I need a minute. Watch the number two video.
2. Justin Timberlake feat. T.I. – My Love (Last Week # 2)

WHAT IN THE HELL! Oh, I’m back after cleaning up. SHUT UP, I spilled some RC cola, pervs! Anyway, J Tim (fuck, I hate that but it is catchy) and T.I. get held at #2 for the second straight week? What UBERawesome entity could hold the dynamic duo back TWO WEEKS IN A ROW?! You know who…
1. UVERworld - Kimi no Suki na Uta (Last Week #1, #1 for three weeks)

Yeah, you know it! UVERworld tops the Chachi Countdown for the THIRD week in a row, tying Shamrock. For those of you that don’t know, this is the song that plays on the MySpace page. This single debuted at #2 on the Oricon singles chart to Japan knows the real. UVERworld is tits, man. Tits.

Well, that is the Passion of Chachi Top 20 for this week! Tune in next week to see if UVERworld can make it one full month at #1! Or see if Justin and T.I. can take the Top Spot. Or will Bennie K turn this thing into a hootenanny and take the throne? Tune in next Friday, peeps!

Okay, I am fed up with Beyonce. Fine or not, get the fuck off my TV. Oh, and get a REAL acting job! What the fuck, do you always have to be a singer?! Show some GODDAMNED RANGE, WOMAN! Samuel L. Jackson may always be the same character, but that same character KICKS ASS! From what I can tell, the actress Beyonce has no character whatsoever. She's just...Beyonce. That aint enough. Peeps, dont see Dreamgirls. Please, you are just feeding ignorance.

Oh, and for the most important part of this day...

I GOT MY CAR BACK!!

Duece is back on the street! Sexy ladies in the house cover your ass! WHOOOO! Seriously, got my car back on Thursday and it looks as good as new! I have to get a new emblem but that is minor. I am back on the streets and loving it! I'll put some pictures up at some point of my baby. She's done me right and what did I do? Put her in the shop. Im sorry, baby. It wont happen again.

Well, I am out for now. I will be back sometime next week. Stay up, peeps.

There Is No God.

Morning, peeps. All I have to say is this:

No, no, NO, NO, NO NO NO NO NO FUCK NO!!

I swear to everything holy that no good will come of this. None. Shit, this just ruined my day. I will be back on Friday with the Countdown.

Live, Laugh, Learn and Love.

Yeah...I Have Been Reduced To Ranting About THIS.

Morning, everybody! Just woke up fully dressed because I was supposed to go out last night. Got home at about 12:30am, changed clothes and promptly went to sleep. Yeah, I'm an old ass man. Sorry about that, DP.

So I am sure you have all heard about it. Some of you may have even seen it. Why is the internet full of pictures of Britney Spears' gully hole? More importantly, why in the hell wasnt she wearing any drawers?! Alright ladies, its rant time.

I tried to stay calm with the back tattoo phenomenon. Although I hate them, they are a person preference and choice. You want one, knock yourself out. I sat back and didnt complain when women decided to wear thongs all the damn time. Now I know that as a man I am supposed to LIKE thongs, but I dont. I think they are stupid. Especially when women wear them like accessories and they show outside of the pants on purpose. You think its sexy, I think you need a FUCKING BELT.

Now we have a new (well, not so new as much as popularized by whores) phenomenon which is wearing short skirts with no underpants. Panties if you will. Now once again, as a man I guess people think I should like this new fashion trend (or LACK of fashion depending on your standpoint) but again I buck the trend and say it is stupid. Now I can understand wanting to be comfortable. Going commando is OKAY in pants. Especially in a speedsuit (VENTURE BROTHERS, FOOL!). Nothing sexier than a woman sweatpants with no underwear on with a nice butt. Just....hells yeah. Is nice.

Back to this issue. I never understand why women do things like this. If you pantyless in a skirt, I am ashamed to say this but your vagina become fair game. Just like walking around with a long chain in the club. Its not smart because it WILL get taken. In this day and agie of technology, sadly your no-no zone is a bullseye for cameras. There is no real reason to NOT wear underwear period, so why not wear them when they are needed the most?! The list of female celebrites caught with no underwear reads like a 'who's who' of drunken partiers. Tara Reid, Paris Hilton and now Britney Spears. I mean seriously. I know women are going to say it's their right to NOT WEAR UNDERWEAR, but it is also my right to tounge down a white chick in Birmingham. Will I do that? NO because I know that shit is dangerous and something bad might happen. I know that is a more extreme case, but it fits.

The simple fact is that there is NO reason to leave the house without underwear on. NONE. Even SPIDERMAN wears undies! Are you better than Spiderman, ladies. Hells no. By wearing them, you avoid the incidents like you see your (sadly) favorite celebs get into.

Well, I just had to get that out. I am so sick of hearing about someones vagina or nipple popping out while staggering pissy-drunk out of a nightclub. I drunkenly staggered out of a lot of clubs over the previous 6 months and I have never ONCE had my wang fall out. I'm just saying.

Well, I will try to be back on Thursday since I will be without a car for the week. Stay up, peeps. Chachi out.

Live, Laugh, Learn and Love.

AND COVER UP YOUR DAMN ASS!

Worst. Week. FUCKING. EVER!!

Morning peeps. An early morning update today as I am taking a day for myself. If you haven’t heard yet (I think I told the three people that read this page that I know about) The Chachi got in an accident last night. No stop signs + poles = crashes. Scientific fact. The important fact is that I'm okay and the other driver SHOULD be fine (not sure, she was being a fucking drama queen but there was a child in the van so I was a little worried) because seeing as how I couldn’t be going any faster than 15 MPH (air bags didn’t deploy and it is damn near impossible to speed in there with all the cars anyway) there wasn’t a lot of damage to either vehicle that I could see. I am going to have to get a new blinker and bumper because a Saturn is FUCKING PLASTIC and made to break. But it’s cool, everyone is fine. I will keep the peeps posted should anything else come out of this.

You know, the police can be cool sometimes. I’m usually never a fan because of how my friends (And yours truly) have been treated by the police since high school. But as I have gotten older I have realized that asshole police officers are the minority. Most officers just do their job and go home, while some abuse their power like champs. The officers last night were all cool (mainly because I have never been in an accident and have an impeccable driving record aside from the last six days) and I was cool to them. See, there is a little validity in what Chris Rock says:

And knowing is half the battle. Except for Zach because he got it BALLS DEEP on his ticket.

Man, it is already December. Thirty-one days until the new year and I must say I can’t wait. 2006 has been kind of a rough year for me. I mean life is hard no matter what and you just have to get it right and do your thing, but MAN 2006 was just The Gift and The Curse. Wow…I just quoted a Jay-Z album. It WAS a bad year. Yeah, I may do a year end wrap up of the reality show that is my life. It was also a kickass year! Douchebrawl was a success (thank you, peeps), NDK ruled ALL and didn’t smell. Got some new members to the Cru and made new friends. Except Rick, who is more of a bail-ee (or bailer depending on the situation) but aside from that I have met great people and have had a kick ass time. So it all evens out. Thanks for the success, love and support peeps!

Enough with the sob stuff. Well, you know what time it is, don’t you? It’s time for the…

PASSION OF CHACHI TOP 20 COUNTDOWN!!!

Let’s get started with a new entry on the Countdown:

20. Young Jeezy – I Love It (New Entry)

Okay, little known fact: I completely dig Young Jeezy. The Snowman makes his first ever appearance on the Top 20 and I like this song & video a lot more than ‘Let’s Get It’. This may be a big winter for hip-hop, with The Game, Young Jeezy and Nas all releasing albums this winter. Thug Motivation 201 in stores next Tuesday, peeps!
19. Game – It’s Okay (Last Week #14, Plunge of the Week)
Yeah, he’s still hanging on to the Countdown. Still have to pick up the album, although I found it on a certain ‘interweb’ and I likes it. Not too bad.
18. RBD (Rebelde) – Ser o Parecer (Last Week #20)
Mmmm…I don’t even have to say anything about this. I am watching the live tour video right now and…hells yeah. Dulce Maria is just packing the heat like a flipped over Pacer. ON FIY-YAH!
17. Bennie K feat. Tsuyoshi – Rensou Game (Last Week # 15)
Anyone notice that Cico’s hair looks like what’s her face from Ghost in the Shell? Although she is an android…I’d hit that. Even still, Bennie K is on there way out. I will miss them so…
16. Se7en – I Wanna… (Last Week #12)
Speaking of on their way out, Se7en continues his free fall from the Top 5. He has like 3 new PV’s and all are pretty good, just not Top 20 worthy. Unlike…
15. Rain (Bi) – I’m Coming (Last Week # 17)

FUCK YEAH. Now THIS is how you make a pop video. Dancing, explosions, pelvic thrusts and abs. Yeah, Bi has all the perquisites down.
14. Nelly Furtado – Say It Right (Last Week #19, Biggest Mover)

So I FINALLY got Nelly Furtado’s album on Tuesday and…WOW. This may be the album of the year. A motivated Timbaland produces circles around Pharrell, Scott Storch and Swiss Beatz (Yeah, I am getting sick of his fucking hook loops to make a damn hit. See Bring ‘Em Out, Cash Flow, I’m A Hustla and Untouchable). This beat is just BANANAS and Nelly puts in work with the vocals. Just an all around hit. Oh, and she is looking mighty fine in the video.
13. Pushim, RHYMESTER, HOME MADE KAZOKU, MABOROSHI, May J – I Say Yeah (Last Week #16)

Yeah, this song is the mad notes, too. Home Made Kazoku has a new track called Everybody needs some music which is kick ass, too. We may be seeing that song on here, too. Oh, and May J is a special lady. Just wanted her to know that.
12. UVERworld - Shamrock (Last Week #9, #1 for three weeks)
After holding down the Top 10 for more than THREE MONTHS (13 weeks) this song finally falls into the Bottom 10. Guess where this song places on the End of the Year Chachi-stravaganza? Tune in and find out!
11. Bowling For Soup – High School Never Ends (Last Week #13)
It’s weird that of the whole pop-punk-rock movement (Blink182, SR-71, Sum 41, Alien Ant Farm, about 25 other bands that suck it dry) Bowling For Soup is the one still around. Although Blink182 imploded more than anything else. Even still, I dig this song.
10. John Legend – Heaven (Last Week #11)
Two songs in the Top 10? Well this may just be John Legend’s year! It will be close between UVERworld, T.I., Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado but it will be close. That and this song is groovin’.
9. Jay Z – Give Me What You Got (Last Week # 7)
So I am kind of disappointed in Kingdom Come. I mean after a third listen it is OKAY, but nowhere near as good as The Blueprint. Hell, it’s not even The Blueprint 2. Also, this video gets annoying real quick, seeing as how it is a tie in to BUDWIESER. Geez, of all the beers.
8. Game – Let’s Ride (Last Week #10)
B walking up to the top, fools! After a few more go rounds, this song is pretty damn good. Too bad it has been prison rape cold (so cold the only way to stay warm is to be anally raped by a huge inmate) so I can’t have the windows down and blare this jam. Even still, it’s good stuff.
7. JoJo – Too Little, Too Late (Last Week #5)
After a quick cup of coffee with the Top 5, JoJo is beginning a little slide on the Countdown.
6. Bennie K – Joy Trip (Last Week #8)

Oh, yeah. Bennie K is slowing making their way to the top. They would move up FASTER if a certain someone would wear more clothes than showed off her fine, FINE tummy. You know how I feel about skinny people, but GOT DAMN Yuki has a tummy that makes me happy in the no-no zone.
5. John Legend – Save Room (Last Week #3, #1 for five weeks)
After domination of the Countdown for 10 weeks, John Legend begins his slow descent down the Countdown. Even with that, he hangs on to the Top 5 for another week. Just saw a special on John on BET Wednesday because I couldn’t make it to work. Real down to Earth cat. Wish more people were like him. I bet you he doesn’t own a fucking Phantom.
4. Soul’d Out – Starlight Destiny (Last Week # 6)
Soul’d Out has cracked the Top 5! Hells yeah! The more I listen to this song, the more I like it. That is one thing I like about J-Pop. The only one that can play out the song is me because I don’t hear it anywhere else.
3. Nelly Furtado – Maneater (Last Week #2)

Nelly couldn’t wrestle the Number 1 spot away from John Legend or UVERworld despite four weeks at Number 2. Even still, she had an AWESOME run, especially given the competition. Hell, between those two half of the weeks the number 1 spot has been occupied by one of their songs. Great job, Nelly. Keep an eye out for Say It Right, because that video is on rotation right now as I type this.
2. Justin Timberlake feat. T.I. – My Love (Last Week # 4)

With no Usher, the new King of Pop and R&B (TWO CROWNS, FOOL! WHAT!!) moves up to the Number 2 spot to try and take the crown. Seeing as how his album only has 4 songs, he is almost out of singles. Even still, get prepared for one HELL OF A BATTLE for the top spot! Well, it is time to announce the reigning champ…
1. UVERworld - Kimi no Suki na Uta (Last Week #1, #1 for two weeks)

For the second week in a row, UVERworld takes the Number 1 spot on the Chachi Top 20. Hell, guess what is on right now? You guessed it. I am just going to say it: BUY TIMELESS RIGHT NOW!! Yes, I know that YesAsia is charging an arm and a leg ($17.99 I think) but it is well worth it. Also, you have paid more for a lot worse (You know you bought Color Me Badd and Billy Ray Cyrus. Consider this atonement) so why not take a chance? You don’t even have to know Japanese to enjoy them.

That is all for this week! Can UVERworld tie their own mark by holding the top spot for a third week? Or will Justin and T.I. become the NEW kings of the Countdown? Or can Nelly Furtado bounce back and take her place on top? Tune in next week to find out!
Well, I have to get some things done today so I will be back soon. I am working on the last few posts of the year so stay tuned, it should be good. The least I can do for the peeps after hearing me bitch for almost a year. Chachi out.

Live, Laugh, Learn and Love.
