First things first: never....EVER try a grilled cheese corndog sanwhich unless you are ready to feel the pain. And by pain I mean a massive coronary. My god...we need to take this idea back to the drawing board.
Also, "30 Days of Night" is another contender for the Movie of the Year Chachi Award.
I know! I am just as shocked as you! But Josh Hartnett gave a great performance and it was a pretty good redux of the book! Quick rundown:
Vampires getting their shit wrecked on by a trencher (look it up): CHECK
Josh Hartnett looking SUPRISINGLY bishie hawt?: CHECK
Vampire children getting messed up with axes?: CHECK
Bela Lugosi reference (That sadly only I got)?: CHECK
Eskimos?: CHECK. I mean it IS Alaska
Gruesome scenes of blood sucking? CHECK YES! They were sucking plasma like Jasmine Byrne. Look it up. On second thought, don't.
All-around vampire goodness?: CHECK!
Full review at some point this week but as of right now...this is the shocker of the damn year. If I had to choose Vampires or Spartans, I would have to choose vampires. And before you ask "how could vampires survive in Alaska, they hate the cold!" let me tell you why. They are Russian. There you go, that simple.
