Greatest. Day. Ever.

Wow, what a day. Peeps I must say today kicked ass. It's hella late (Sunday damn-morning) but hells yeah it was fun. First off, there was no funk. Everyone was fresh and clean and I'm not sure the Park Meadows Mall would have put up with that. Those park rangers looked disrespect and down to beat some ass. Second, the show was awesome. I really know how most J-pop shows work, but this went off well. The crowd was hype, the dancers were sexy (you will see) and Yoko Ishida seemed into the show rather than pulling a diva act and knowing that 85 anime geeks is as big a crowd she was gonna get in Colorado. All and all, a great show. Take a look for yourself:

Yes, that is me smiling like some fanboy. Sue me, I was excited to meet my first J-Pop star. And the Para Para dancers were kind of saucy. Oh yeah. Needless to say it was pretty bad ass. She signed my cd (which has the opening for 'Ai Yori Aoshi' which I shrieked like a 12 year old girl for when she performed it) and even said my name, albeit I thought the personalized the autographs and I honestly thing she was testing her English. Even still, at least she didn't ignore me like John Elway or DMX.

Also, I knocked the 'Para Para' dance craze yesterday, and rightfully so. After what I saw yesterday, it looked like a hepped-up version of the Japanese macarena. I must say, that after seeing it live, they really tone it down and it kind of kicked ass. It could be the next DDR without the awkward spastic movements. When they broke into the 'Ah My Goddess' Opening (a song which I also lost my shit over, btw) and had the folk dance going on in the middle it really seemed to be a completely different animal. Hell, I even learned the moves after one go-round and even joined in. You can tell by the jumpy camera work in the video. To top it all off, they did a happy-hardcore style version of 'Let Me Be With You' from Chobits (which turned me into a shrieking mess again but I don't care that song RULES ALL) which officially made this the greatest day fricking ever. I will have video up in a bit, I am streaming it as I type. Gotta give my peeps visual of this event.

Also, props to Get Loose, a member of the Men's Para Para Team. He was breaking it DOWN like compounds. Check him out. He even let me get a picture:

Dont let him fool you. He got LOOSE, ya'll.

On another note, I am starting up the script for the first LoChachi movie to be released this Spring with a trailer up at some point in February. Dare I say, it will most definitely kick ass. Got some voice actors and most of the equipment, so now its just a matter of building sets and a storyboard (again). Hopefully, if the three people that come here like it, I will release the summer blockbuster sequel in around July. Its all about the peeps.

I will update this in the morning with video of the Anime Fusion Tour so stay tuned. Odds are there will be no rant on Monday unless something really gets my going. Gonna relax tomorrow. Stay tuned, peeps.

Chachi Out.
