Best. Day. Ever. Con't

Afternoon peeps! I didn't get to bed until like 4am last night, so I am kinda groggy. Either way, I promised you some clips of the greatness that was the Anime Fusion Tour. Here you go!

This is Yoko Ishida and The Para Para Dance Crew performing 'Cruel Angel's Thesis' from Evangelion: http://www.youtube.com/?v=Rahf0KTLgxY

Now for 'Let Me Be With You' from Chobits (a top three anime opening theme for me), Para Para Style. And check out Get Loose from the Para Para crew up front. Like I said yesterday, he gets LOOSE: http://www.youtube.com/?v=arWeoUEXhSk

And finally, the closing of the show was the song that the Japanese love more than Pocky. Zach is right, they should make this the national anthem of Japan because it is in EVERYTHING and has been done by EVERYONE. Here is a Para Para version of the Frank Sinatra classic 'Fly Me To The Moon.' You know you love it: http://www.youtube.com/?v=kAQkfSwrZjI

I have a few more which I will put up later (she performed the Pretear song, but I'm not a fan of it so I didn't post it. If the peeps ask they shall receive) and the autograph session as well. It was so kick ass.

As a future note (well into the future) the Nan-Desu-Kan is coming to Denver again October 6th-8th. I went last year and I must say, it wasn't ALL bad. The aroma was...pungent but I met a lot of nice people (big ups to Andy and Will!) and had interesting conversation that didn't make me feel like an anime geek. Like I was amongst my own. To give you an idea of the Happy Action Fun Time I had, here are a few pictures:

Nabeshin from Excel Saga and I. Anime chicks dig the afro. Smurf yeah.

The ninja in the bathrobe and I. This was a cool dude, even though he didn't say much. As a matter a fact, he refuse to join our gang but I cant hold that against him. He is a ninja after all.

And these are three entrants into the Cosplay Competition. Needless to say, everyone was either a Final Fantasy character or Naruto (OVERRATED) character. Yuffie, Yuna and Aerith here didn't win, though. I say boo to that.

This is also from the cosplay competition. I want to say its Sailor Uranus? Zach said she was best in show. There was an Advent Children costumed Tifa that was on POINT. Unfortunately, I didn't have the camera and it burns me to this day. Great stuff. Easily, the best Sailor Moon costume of the show:

This last one is from the manga/anime 'Fruits Baskets'. I have been meaning to pick these up, but a little something called 'Peach Girl' and 'Bleach' happened, so I'm a little behind. Even so, Ive been told from reliable sources its a good read/watch. That and check out the costumes. If I am not mistaken, they won the Saturday competition. Deservedly so in my opinion.

Well, it was fun last year, and hopefully it will be just as fun this year. It will be great I think. Gonna probably get a hotel so I can do all three days, though. Sucked driving back and forth from the Springs. Hope to see anyone there!

Well, its Sunday so I gotta do some car work in a bit. Everyone stay up and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Its actually a kick ass day outside. See ya'll tomorrow.

Chachi out.
