No one is more ashamed than I am.

First off, the show went off very well last night. I'm not a huge fan of popular rap, but it was nice to hear 'I'm Not Feeling You' live again. Pretty punch-line worthy track. If you dont know what punchlines in hip-hop are, look it up or ask and I will explain. Also, someone busted a window out, and that stuff aint cool. It was hella cold last night.

Now, to some gaming news. I just saw the UBER (like 6 minutes) trailer of Kingdom Hearts II, and I am sorry Beth but it is looking kinda good. It has a Pirates of the Carribean stage (COMPLETE WITH JOHNNY DEPP! He's my bishie! Shut up I'm allowed one), a Steamboat Willie stage and a Tron stage (I hated that movie and still do. I remember the game from Showtime Pizza and I dont remember liking it). However it has Mulan and Hercules characters so it could suck complete ass. Either way, should be interesting, seeing as this game and Black are the only big names until the PS3.

Now to the sad news. Rumble Roses XX is coming to the XBox 360. Now I have a confession. I bought the first one. And I must say....it actually wasnt bad once you got past the fact the overall story sucked. It was like a stripped down (bweh heh) version of all the Yuke's wrestling games (mainly Fire Pro Wrestling, the GREATEST WRESTLING GAME EVER) which is a very good thing. After looking at the screens....wow:

Yes, that is a panda. They wont mate, but they will wrestle. Stupid bear. I must say after seeing the demo live at GameCrazy, it doesnt move at a blazing pace as one would expect. Something had to suffer, and it had to be the game speed. Kind of disappointing after the kick-assed-ness that is Dead Or Alive 4. I have said it and will stand by it: give me three more games like DOA 4 and they have a sale in my book. Jesus, that game was as fast as SFII: Turbo on ten stars. Nothing on 'blast processing' though, eh Griff. Sega does! Nintendo doesnt! Play THAT loud, biz-natch.

I will be back later for the 'What Chachi Likes' this evening. Until then, I leave you with what may be the best show of video game skill ever. Stay up, peeps.

Chachi out.

Now its official.

First off, Video Mods sucks. I don't watch TV much anymore, but whenever I do watch, something in on that sucks. This being one of the leaders. Much like my stance on anime, I liked it better when gamers were looked at as freaks and outcasts of society. Here is a note to MTV: shitty videogames + shitty pop music = shitty videos with shitty pop music. Simple math.

Speaking of MTV, I am a little pissed now so I'm gonna go on a mini-rant. People think it is fashionable to hate MTV because they don't play videos. Well that isn't reason to not like MTV, because like all niche channels, you have to give variety to succeed. From BET to Cartoon Network to TNN, all niche networks add programming to attract views because if they don't there is no more network. So the fact MTV and MTV2 (yes, I know it was created solely for videos and doesn't play them, I'm getting to the point) don't play videos anymore was inevitable. And having satellite video channels that only play videos was going to happen as well. People also talk about MTV because the only play reality shows. That is justified, but so does every other network so that's not a real GOOD reason. The reason I hate MTV (strong word, but I stand by it) is simple: it is a two-faced, pretentious network that takes a stand when convenient and has created a false sense of being relevant.

So what does that mean exactly? MTV has spent a lot of money hyping their MTV News style of coverage for events that MTV really shouldn't cover. How can Ja Rule comment on the starving children of African nations when this man has a 20,000K medallion on? How can Lars Ulrich talk about the greed of the governments of the world when this man attempted to sue FANS for downloading music from an industry that has been price gouged for at least 13 years (some say since 1991, and I would agree except that CDS still weren't the top media then)? I think its great that a network is trying to use their influence to reach out to the younger generation, but here is a real honest question: do they need to be reached out to by a network that is playing both ends of the argument?

As much as they tout otherwise, MTV is geared toward the 15-24 age demographic. Just exiting that demographics a few months ago, I know that they are impressionable and rather...well stupid. The shows on MTV feature people in that age range, the artists (except Eminem and Mariah Carey who still ACTS like they are in that age range) featured are in that age range and because that age range suprisingly rarely reads or watches real news (I'll count the Daily Show as real news because its as close as a lot of people get)that is scary. If any adults are reading this, think that the majority of people in that age range (no joke, reports say 70% of that age range watch MTV the most of all networks, and that was in a paper I wrote...in 2002) know more about the breakup of Nick and Jessica than the Patriot Act. Someone bought to my attention that MTV has their little 'News Now' bullshit where they focus on a topic and has campaigns like 'Rock The Vote' and the Africa benefit concerts. Well, three things in response to that: young people didnt vote, Africans still have AIDS and 'Trippin'. Nuff said.

You know what, I'm gonna cut this rant short. You know why, I want you to watch MTV for 30 minutes. Go ahead, I'll wait.

You back? Sucked didn't it. I rest my case.

SO enough with the evil me. I just put the Ichigo 100% closing as my ringtone and I must say, it is pretty hyper. Got my first strange look about it, too. They's jealous that's all.

For Zach, this is a song that after 2 years has grown on me. Theme for Great Teacher Onizuka Driver's High. Toe tapping goodness.

Well, its gonna be a late night tonight so I may drop some knowledge for ya'll in the afternoon. Also, I am REALLY thinking about doing a 'Douchebag 2006' Awards, so if you have ideas for the biggest douchbag of the year (for different categories) let me know. Till then, stay up peeps.

Chachi out.

First off, ITS PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!

That is funny stuff right there.

Its been a pretty lazy day today. Not much going on except Happy Birthday to Hannah!

So I was at Best Buy and realized that there are a gaggle of TV series DVD's. Shows that sucked have DVD's (Real World I am looking squarely at you) yet I am really shocked (well, not really) that MTV hasnt released DVD's of their shows that didnt...well suck. After five years, there has been no box set of Undergrads, Daria or 2Gether. Yes, 2Gether is in my opinion the most underrated show MTV had. It was suprisingly funny. Its a shame QT died, but it was good they didnt pull a Menudo and just replace him. They just ended the series, and that was cool. It deserves a box set, complete with videos and the pilot movie. Now that would be kickass.

Valentine's Day (Or Ladies Extra Christmas as I call it) is coming up next week, so I will become increasingly bitter over the next few days. Aside from Easter and Christmas it is probably my least liked holiday which is awkward because it has nothing to do with Jesus. Our Valentines Day shout be more like Japan's. I would like some candy from a pretty lady sometime. Then, on White Day you return the favor. Now THAT's true love. If it wasnt for the whole panty thing, Japan would be the best country ever. Anime fans know what I mean. Just weird.

Well, Feburary is Black History Month and seeing as how no one gives a rats ass I really shouldnt, either. Yet, I feel people think I cant stand black people. That isnt true. I cant stand stupid people, no matter what your race. It just seems in the times of spinning rims, grillz and LED belts (who in the fuck let that one out of the house?!) that black folks are just more obvious. So, to show I am not all rants, death threats and restraining orders I give you the first 'What Chachi Likes' rather than a rant, just for the month of Feburary. I do this out of respect for those that fought for the right for me to be able to you know, read and own a computer. And I dont mean Batman. Although I'm sure he would have fought in the Civil Rights movement. Cuz blacks love gaudy stuff, and nothing would be gaudier than a Batmobile with candy paint and 26' rims. Really THINK ABOUT THAT. I'm suprised it hasnt happend. Anyway, I give you:

What Chachi Likes!

Shakira

Boo-yah. Sometimes her voice reminds me of Stevie Nicks (not a good thing unless you like goat braying mixed with ulats), but my GOD I love her. When she sings in Spanish, here is nobody better. Estoy Aqui is just a great song. And LOOK AT HER.

Yes, she is beauty personified.

Well, I gots to be out. Oh, almost forgot. Teqnyc has a show at Kelly O'Briens tomorrow night. I dont know when it will start, because its never on time. I'm gonna be there around 10-10:30ish, which means he will start at about 11, give or take. CPT hurts, but I am beginning to think it is science. So that means the update will be Sunday morning. Hope to have the last of the videos up by Monday. Stay up peeps.

Chachi out. And go to hell, Tom Cruise. Why is he always on when I finish my updates?! Geez, maybe God does have it out for me

So U2 needs to go away.

Listen, I am sure there are some Irish people that don't think U2 sucks ass. Well, the days of Sunday Bloody Sunday and Where The Streets Have No Name are over. U2 has become to rock what Nas is to rap: living off of a classic first album and replacing insightful songs with neo-political bullshit in order to sell records. Bush sucks and war is bad? NO SHIT BONO. I swear, you piss me off to the highest level of pissedivity. Yes, its a word. You want to help the starving children? You want to save the war-torn nations? Well shitty albums doesn't do it. Talking to world leaders you have NO REASON BEING AROUND wont to it either. When I think of great humanitarians, I think of Chavez, King, Gandhi, Mandela and Bono?

The sad part is I don't hate U2 as much as I just think Bono is a tool. Like how I didn't dislike Guns 'N' Roses as much as I felt Axl Rose needed to beaten. Same thing here, Bono is so into 'saving the world' that he cant even make music right. If you watch the Fensler Film PSA, its like when he is telling the kid to find one game he can do. Bono, make good music and leave saving the world to the damn Christians. And don't even get me started on Christians and Jesus. That's another day.

So, back to reality. Teq's show went off very well. Its sad when you are in a competition, you give the other band an hour to perform, and they lose to three songs. THREE SONGS. Damn, that has to suck ass. Also, to the men out there: fashion is a fucking priviledge. You are not Andy FUCKING Warhol, so stop trying to create an avant garde statement with your clothes because you just look stupid. Same for women. Cover it up and shut it up. That means your mouths. We don't care if you are drunk, we don't care if you have had a bad day and I SURE AS HELL DON'T CARE IF YOUR FEET HURT! Get some Keds, dumbass. Oh, and back to niggas and their Gucci and D&G patterns on their shoes and shirts: STOP. If you leave the house, look in the mirror and think you look good you need to be beaten. Oh, and fuck the police. I'm not sure if the CSP doesn't have a lot of crime to stop, but driving drunk people HALF A BLOCK is no reason to be suspicious. Its nice to see the 'War on Blacks Not Breaking the Law' will hold precedent over the actual "War on Terror'. I was scared white folks weren't afraid of coloreds no more, and fear is all we have on you guys. Its nice to see you care. Pricks.

SO, back to the fun stuff. Some people have asked me why is Bennie K always on this blog? Because music sucks and its a rather fresh sound. That and I love them. And not the 'mail a vial of my blood' love. That's reserved for Jessica Alba. With that being said, here is Dreamland.

http://www.youtube.com/?v=z-zxdFw_ZIk

I posted a smaller clip of the video earlier with the 'J-Pop N Lock Crew', but this is the whole thing. I will toss something new up next time. Maybe some Soul'd Out. Think the Beastie Boys without the Tibet ridiculousness. Japan keeps is too real for that.

Lastly, yesterday I went to Mu Shu's, a new Chinese in the Springs. First off, YOU BASTARDS DISHONOR ME. Your food is not fit for dogs and is overpriced. Secondly, either the company or the employees themselves are racist fucks. Why do I say that? Because at the bottom of my receipt, it said 'PREEZE come again'. PREEZE? Yeah, if the Chinese will run over a student with a tank on national TV on general purpose, imagine what they will do to America for some stuff like this. That and it was just ignorant.

Well, I leave you with some Orange Range. They are a J-Rock/Pop/Urban band that has done openings and closings for several anime (Bleach, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist) and quite simple kick the ass Jersey Style. Americans compare them to Linkin Park, but not I said the cat. This The Roots meets Beck meet John Mayer meets Staind. Thats a lot of meet. This is Asterisk, the opening for the first season of Bleach. Which if you haven't seen SHAME ON YOU BECAUSE IT RULES ALL.

http://www.youtube.com/?v=4i7RFgCeuWQ

Thats enough for now. Stay up peeps, I will be back soon.

Chachi out. Tom Cruise ROT IN HELL. Or where ever Scientologists go. Probably Detroit.

And the Grammy goes to....not 50 CENT!

Not gonna lie, I watch the Grammy's sometimes. I really want to see John Legend win at least one Grammy tonight. I loved his album, and don't want to see him go down the line of India Arie and Babyface of people with a gaggle of nominations and no wins. And since did rock belong to people over 60? Rolling Stones, U2, Neil Young? Jesus Christ man, where in the hell has rock gone? That idiot from America Idol rocks more that U2. And the Rolling Stones by all scientific logic should either be dead or merge to form an evil demon drug god that will consume the Earth and bore us with crappy neo-political rock ditties.

So I got my cable back (as one could hopefully tell) and boy, TV sucks. I really didn't miss it. All that is on is Mad TV and nineteen different variations of The Real World. I think I saw a music video on MTV for five seconds, but it was a Verizon commercial. Then 50 Cent came on and I lost it.

Two BIG updates: happy birthday to Owen. I'm sorry I missed it, O.G. I'll make it up to you.

Secondly, this is for everyone. I know how much Owen loves this song. And how much I cant stand Kevin Federline. Best of both worlds: http://www.youtube.com/?v=XGTl6tgVEFw

Also, I am working on getting stills of the first arc of the 'Pirates and Ninjas' 5 minute epic up. Camera is getting on my nerves.

I will return soon. Stay up peeps.

Chachi out.

NEW BLEACH, FOOL! WHAT!

New "Bleach' is up. No sleep for a while until this finishes. Also got two new Bennie K videos. Smurf yeah, they's going up on the site. They are the loves of my life.

Mmmm, that's good J-pop. Stay up peeps. I know I will. Cuz I'm downloading 'Bleach' you dirty dogs.

Chachi out.

Time to lay down the law.

First off, today there will be a rant. It will be offensive to some, but I really think this needs to be said. I got this idea after in-depth conversations with some friends (both male and female) over the last few days. I also was sent the link for the new Pink video for 'Stupid Girls' and I must say, it's actually pretty good. Of the 2000 pop explosion, she's the only one I could really tolerate.

Okay, I remember being an a women's rights club in college (rather interesting story, I will tell it someday) and was always on the opposite side of debates with the other members. They were always talking about how hard it is in today's world to be a woman. How the odds are stacked against them and how they aren't protected. Not wanting to be in a 13-on-1 battle of attrition, I would just sit there and take it at first. After a while, I began to realize something: the concept of reality is LOST on women.

Now for the two or three women that read this blog, I will explain my words. The members would always say that the media (which meant men) create a false standard for women to achieve in terms of beauty and style. And I will agree to that statement as it is still true today. Maxim doesn't sell because the articles are insightful and music videos don't get airplay for the musical content. They are both successful due to the 'objectification' of women that are quite the opposite of the ideal look. All women don't look like Vida Guerra. Here is a picture:

There is a simple reason why women that look like her are put into videos and magazines, and its not the grand conspiracy to keep women down as much as 'neo-feminists' try to push that on us. The reason these women are pushed to the forefront is the exact same reason anything gets pushed to the forefront: they aren't the norm. If every woman looked like Vida Guerra (giggidy-giggidy), then something else would be pushed by the media. It's the male equivalent of Mike Vick in 2002. The man DID bring something totally new to the quarterback position in the NFL, and they pushed him to the moon. Was it justified? Hell no, and I am as big a Mike Vick fan as there is. He was unproven, erratic and unpolished in the basic skills of...well throwing a screen pass. Was the push of J-Lo warranted? Hell no, she's a piss-poor singer, and average dancer and I have seen better acting in porn. But she had the look, and that is all that matters. It all comes down to money and marketing people. No more, no less.

Oh, and about the way women are portrayed in the media. Ladies, as a black man I can say this and be completely justified because of what I have seen in the last ten years from my people. You undo any progress you make almost the EXACT second you make it. Women want to be respected for their actions and valued for their worth. Completely valid, so does everyone. However, you need to do a serious gut check about your role models. To be seen as respectable, your LEADERS must be respectable. Take black men for example. Gone are the days of Garvey, King, Evers and Little (Malcolm X for the non-readers) and they have been replaced by 50 Cent, Jay Z, Nelly and Snoop. Not exactly the ones on the forefront if you are trying to fight for respectability, are they? Now when you think about women with popularity, aside from Oprah (who you need to latch on to and not let go if you want to make this thing work) and Hillary name the female icons. None, really. When people think of popular women they think of who?

Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. As sad as it is, it is very true. And their claim to fame? Banging on camera and being a drug addict. Oh, and Lindsay did 'Mean Girls' which was highly underrated. I'm sorry, but the whole 'Sex in the City' live like men this is stupid and it is hurting your stock and credibility. You know why? Because living like men is FUCKING STUPID. Drinking till you pass out and getting teabagged is living like men. Is that what you want? Nothing is wrong with drinking and having a good time. I am all for that. I am not for stupidity and a lack of common sense. And alcohol plus women equals exactly that.

Now this is a touchy subject, and I debated on whether or not to go here because this view hasn't gone over very well with people in the past. I honestly don't care anymore about the feelings anymore. Let me preface this by saying that I believe rape is wrong. It is a crime and it is disgusting. You know what else is wrong? Going into a situation where you know 'shit can happen' and regretting it afterward. Ladies, I never want to defend the actions of the attacker of downplay the emotions of the victim. I also don't want to portray men as uncontrollable animals that cant think straight when they see boobies.

Let's look at this with a little bit of logic. Black men and white women don't hold hands in Alabama when possible. Gay college students stay away from frat parties wearing rainbows. White people stay out of New Orleans, D.C. and Detroit after midnight. Why? Because it is just logical and good common sense. In the jungle, how many times have you seen a zebra walk up to a lion and give it a kiss like Bugs Bunny gave Elmer Fudd? Never. Why? Because it's not good common sense. Are women smarter than zebras? Of course they are. So why do things that aren't safe for you?

Thats not a fair comparison, you say? You should be able to drink whenever and not have to worry about being groped or worse sexually assaulted? You say you should be able to have a good time without fearing for your safety? You know what? You are correct. You know what else? I don't like having to say this but tough shit. It's sad, but its the way things are. I'm a grown man but I was scared when I was in Mississippi. I was literally scared because of how people looked at me and the artifacts of racism that were in gas stations and restaurants (confederate flags, sambo statues, etc). Is that fair? That I should be afraid of being assaulted? No. But you know what, tough shit for me. It hurts me to say that, but at the same time, I want to live to be 30.

Women can always used the defense 'men should change and learn to respect us' but hey, respect yourself and then we will talk. Wear a full set of clothing that actually has seams and then talk about perception. Try not to sound like giggling, dumb as a bag of stones stereotyical dumb girl and then get back to me about being respected. I know Dave Chappelle talked about the 'ho's uniform' and that's a fine analogy. I agree that just because a woman is dressed a certain way doesn't make her a whore. Now lets use common sense again here. If you see a guy in bummy shoes with bad hair, do you think he's eccentric? Or a dirty bum? When you see a Allen Iverson, do you see a savvy businessman worth 17 million a year? Or a thug that may take your wallet? I learned a long time ago that fair or not, perception is reality. No matter how intelligent I am or how well I present myself, if I dress a certain way I will be perceived that way. Take note a realize that. As judgmental as women are sometimes, I cant understand why shit like that doesn't sink in.

You know, Huey from the Boondocks said it best. This line works for everyone from women to blacks to Muslims (don't think you are getting off easy. I will get with you guys later) to Right Wing Christians: Act like you've got some goddamn sense. Really THINK before you act. Don't get into situations that could end up bad if you can avoid them. Hell, here are some ground rules.

  1. Do not drink Long Island Iced Teas (if an alcoholic mixed drink is 100% alcoholol of different varieties, it might not be a good idea to drink 5 of them. Just a fucking thought)
  2. If a guy buys you a drink, and he aint drinking, beware. (That is bad news. It's like someone wanting you to bungie jump into a pool of sharks and they have never done it. Not I said the cat, and so should you)
  3. If you have seen what you are wearing in a music video or at a strip club, its not appropriate. (It may look cute, but it sends out the vibe of $'20 topless, $30 full nude' so it may be best to go with something a little less flashy)
  4. Never, ever drink till you throw up. (Or fall down. Did you see Steve-O on Adam Corrola? Neither did I, but I saw the video. You look like that, except in a skit showing off your gulley hole)
  5. Don't ever use the phrase 'Will you respect me in the morning if we do this' or any other phrasing of that. (The answer is no, because he doesn't respect himself or else he wouldn't be down either. Sleep on THAT for a moment)
  6. Don't let the world know how drunk you are. (Like a bloody seal, you give away your position to the sharks. Besides, seeing you are face down on the bar was a dead giveaway)
  7. Being stupid is not sexy. (This is a new phenomenon. Being mysterious does NOT mean being vacant, so don't twist your hair and say 'I dunno' The days of math is hard Barbie are over)
  8. Just say no. (I say this for safety. There are stupid people out their that believe that you owe them something if they buy you a drink. Saying no is okay, because if he gets unruly he WILL be thrown out because more women in the club equals more men showing up and other men offering to buy you drinks. See, its a circle of money)
  9. If you don't know him, don't blow him. (Vulgar as it sounds, its true. I know a stranger is a friend you haven't met, but making friends usually doesn't involve mouth love. And for Christsake don't go home with someone you don't know. That is just stupid beyond stupid and at that point all credibility is lost)
  10. Respect yourself. (Not to the point of conceit, but you know (hopefully) what is right and what is wrong. If it doesn't feel right, DON'T DO IT. Oh, and don't drink anything you didn't see poured. That is just ignorant)

See, my rants aren't about just bitching. I am here to help. Protect yourself, respect yourself and love yourself. If that wasn't so cheesy, I would end my posts with it. I will be back with a normal post a little later on. Till then, stay up peeps.

The end of an era....and the beginning of something stupid.

Long weekend everyone. First off, the Super Bowl sucked. Just had to get that out of the way. I aint had cable for a week (because Adelphia is the devil) so I've actually gone outside and wow, nature sucks. Animals roam the street like they run it. Hunting season will take them down a peg.

As a few of you know, today is my last day with the Darkside and I must say, it was a hell of a run. Especially when we networked Unreal Tournement and crashed all the systems and our network. Aaahhh, priceless. Before I send in my letters to get my 'get the hell out of dodge' money, I will just say fuck them. I hope they get cancer, of the HEAD. Ah, not head cancer!

With the end of a crappy chapter, begins one that makes even less sense. I have had the idea swirling in my brain for about a year for a movie. Dare I say, the grandest movie since 'Goonies'. Yes, Goonies. I have also dragged my feet on the project due to lack of time, interest from the masses and lack of funds/actors. Well, it has come to pass. I give you the greatest movie of our time. I will bring to you.....

Pirates and Ninjas: The Battle for the Dragon Skull

Commence rejoicing. I'll wait. You good? Cool.

Filming began on Friday and the storyboard and script has been completed for the final three parts. Due to the time-constraints of stop-motion and voice editing, its gonna be a bit before its done. But creating art takes tome, and it will be worth it in the end. Plus, there will be dance montages and special features to the inevitable DVD. Oh yeah, it's gonna be smooth chachi folks.

Oh, and about "When a Stranger Calls' being the number one movie at the box office this weekend. Good job America. You have succeeded in being the second dumbest nation in the world behind Iran. They can blame the heat and Islam's selectively translated word. What can YOU blame your stupidity on? For shame, America.

Sigh, that's enough for now. I leave you with a little something. Can't stay mad at the peeps:

I am dead serious. Don't see that damn movie. I will DIS-fucking-OWN you.

On a lighter note, sing along with Bennie K: http://www.youtube.com/?v=GCB5V7abCtk

Long vid, give it a bit to load.

Chachi out, peeps.

Thursday, February 02, 2006

The streets will flow with the blood of the stupid.

I swear to all that is holy if ANYONE of you goes to see 'When A Stranger Calls' I will beat you to oblivion myself so you will never breed. I fucking mean it. I am through playing around with the mouth-breathers. The stupidity stops now.

And on the seventh day, God gave us....THE FUNK.

Taking a break from 'Bleach' to give the peeps some good stuff. Enjoy.

And before he rested, God gave us frogs. And they were funky.

http://www.youtube.com/?v=mnZLnOou4Wc

Chachi out for now. 3,2,1 FIRE!

They won't stop. Cuz they can't stop!

So 'Bleach' is kicking more ass than I ever thought could be kicked at one time. It's a daunting task to get caught up in the series (I'm at 40 of 66 episodes, pretty good seeing as I have been watching since fricking Monday) but its worth it. Unlike Dragon Ball Z and GT, you dont get to the point where you pull a Milhouse and ask 'when are they gonna get to the fireworks factory!' at any point. That and Kanon'ji is my fucking idol. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

The only problem is that Ichigo gets his ass kicked. A LOT. I'm talking like Apollo Creed in 'Rocky IV' ass-kickings. I was waiting for the line 'If he dies, he dies' to be uttered by someone. And the ending theme after Ep. 38 kinda kills the moment that happend before it. Kick ass song, but it was kinda like playing 'Everyday Sunshine' by Fishbone during the death scene in Titanic. I will put a clip up this evening of it. Or maybe the morning cuz this this just got HELLA GOOD.

On a final note, I have figured out how to upload video on a consistant basis instead of trial and error, so Teq's show should be up on the site in a few days once I cut out the filler. I also go some comments about my affinity for the Para Para Dancers. Sue me, they was hot.

Well, I am out for now. I will put up something later, hopefully Sgt. Frog (HELL. YES.) or something. Also, I am testing out artwork for a poster to a movie I am making. Those in the know understand what that means, but I will have more up about the movie soon. Stay up, peeps.

Like Clorox, but BETTER!

Okay, I have been roaming around town for shoes for a bit so I have had time to think about this before I make this statement. I have seen a lot of anime series and this is going to be hard to say. Here it is: Bleach is one of the best anime series I have ever seen, and may be the best ever of any genre. Bar none. I am only 13 episodes in (a full seasons worth) and unless something really jacked up happens and they jump the shark, this series is awesome.

I know people are going to toss out names like Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist and Escaflowne but this out does them. Now while I have seen Naruto and FMA via fansubs (before the Cartoon Network editing) I will admit they are great series (albeit overrated, I SAID IT) they both have flaws. Naruto is dragging after about 50 episodes while FMA is hit or miss (I am REALLY digging it now after episode 46) and Escaflowne tried too hard to overtake Evangelion, becoming really cliche at the end and needing a movie to tie ends up that really didn't work. I would put this up there with the best like Evangelion, Lupin, Kimagure, Cowboy Bebop and even (gasp) any Gundam series. Give it a watch, you wont be disappointed.

Now with that being said, can I just say that Brokeback Mountain getting Oscar nods is not the end of the world? Gay characters getting awards is not a bad thing. However, Heath Ledger and Jake Gylden-whatever getting nominated while Samuel L. Jackson and Johnny Depp have no awards is a damn travesty. They both truly suck ass, and no gay cowboy movie is going to change that. Now 'Crash' and 'Munich' both DESERVED nominations. Although Crash has Ludacris (all scientific theories show that rappers plus movies equals goatshit, but I was pleasantly surprised) and Munich was about as long as a FLIGHT TO THE COUNTRY, they were still both well acted and thought provoking films. I have not seen Brokeback Mountain and don't plan on it, so I know you are asking how I can say a movie sucks when I haven't seen it. Well, I didn't need to see 'Passion of Christ' to know it sucked, but I did see it and it DID suck. I'm using the same theory here, and seeing as how im sure that the story of two cowboys in love isn't as funny as the story of Christ. Okay, that was jacked. Still, it IS ironic that Jesus died on his passion, which was being a carpenter. And he died on planks. Im sorry, but that is irony for your ASS. Take a joke, Jesus can. See for yourself:

Um....Aren't you an oil baby, Mr. Bush? First you want to get rid of abortion, now you are talking out of the side of your ass. I'm all for abortions, and I'm all for oil. I just thought of something REALLY bad, but I will leave it alone. Even I wont go that far. I'll just say oil and abortions for everyone!

Enough with politics and stuff. How about the Bleach opening for season 2?

http://www.youtube.com/?v=i-L6Ok6HaWk

Kick ass song, kick ass show, and demons. Hell yeah.

Well, that is all for now peeps. I'm out for a spell then I may put some stuff up before I conk out. Stay up.

Chachi out. And no gays settling down!!

I'm kidding, just kidding.
First a very sad note. Coretta Scott King, wife of Dr. martin Luther King Jr. passed away after reported after effects of a stroke and heart attack in 2005. Very few times do I take time out to acknowledge passings like this, I usually leave these alone and let the families mourn even during high profile ones like this. However, I must send condolences to the King family. Maya Angelou said it best:

"It's bleak because I can't..many of us can't hear her sweet voice but it's great because she did live, and she was ours. I mean African-Americans and white Americans and Asians, Spanish-speaking, she belonged to us and that's a great thing."

She worked very hard to keep the vision of Dr. King alive. We have no idea how hard it must have been to do that, especially after his death and having to lead this alone in an era where many peopldidn'tnt appreciate the efforts and the previous struggle. Due to this, I will post something else later. May she rest in peace.

I just....I just don't know.

Man, today sucked. Interviewing sucks ass, especially when you really don't want the job. I really need to learn to say, 'You know what? Your company sucks and odds are I would just end up screwing off on the internet if I DID accept the job.' No different than any other job I've had, but at least I would be upfront with them this time. Well, Monday prepares you for the rest of the week and man, it can go up a lot from here.

Anyway, normally this is the time where you would get a rant from me. Shockingly, not today. Aside from the fact that Kevin Federline is still allowed to breathe, nothing has really set me off today. I'm sure something will bug me by Wednesday.

This was close to becoming my rant for the day. Griff, 'Perfect Hair Forever' is stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid. However, this is rather funny: http://www.youtube.com/?v=kMsjKs-Q5Dc

Speaking of stupid, does anyone really watch 'Girls Gone Wild' videos? Jesus, the same thing happens at the club and its free! And no dirty feelings afterward. Geez, sometime I really wonder if we are 'de-evolving' as humans. Not a real word, but it fits the situation.

Sorry so short today, peeps. I'm of to bed for now. Stay up.

Chachi out.

Best. Day. Ever. Con't

Afternoon peeps! I didn't get to bed until like 4am last night, so I am kinda groggy. Either way, I promised you some clips of the greatness that was the Anime Fusion Tour. Here you go!

This is Yoko Ishida and The Para Para Dance Crew performing 'Cruel Angel's Thesis' from Evangelion: http://www.youtube.com/?v=Rahf0KTLgxY

Now for 'Let Me Be With You' from Chobits (a top three anime opening theme for me), Para Para Style. And check out Get Loose from the Para Para crew up front. Like I said yesterday, he gets LOOSE: http://www.youtube.com/?v=arWeoUEXhSk

And finally, the closing of the show was the song that the Japanese love more than Pocky. Zach is right, they should make this the national anthem of Japan because it is in EVERYTHING and has been done by EVERYONE. Here is a Para Para version of the Frank Sinatra classic 'Fly Me To The Moon.' You know you love it: http://www.youtube.com/?v=kAQkfSwrZjI

I have a few more which I will put up later (she performed the Pretear song, but I'm not a fan of it so I didn't post it. If the peeps ask they shall receive) and the autograph session as well. It was so kick ass.

As a future note (well into the future) the Nan-Desu-Kan is coming to Denver again October 6th-8th. I went last year and I must say, it wasn't ALL bad. The aroma was...pungent but I met a lot of nice people (big ups to Andy and Will!) and had interesting conversation that didn't make me feel like an anime geek. Like I was amongst my own. To give you an idea of the Happy Action Fun Time I had, here are a few pictures:

Nabeshin from Excel Saga and I. Anime chicks dig the afro. Smurf yeah.

The ninja in the bathrobe and I. This was a cool dude, even though he didn't say much. As a matter a fact, he refuse to join our gang but I cant hold that against him. He is a ninja after all.

And these are three entrants into the Cosplay Competition. Needless to say, everyone was either a Final Fantasy character or Naruto (OVERRATED) character. Yuffie, Yuna and Aerith here didn't win, though. I say boo to that.

This is also from the cosplay competition. I want to say its Sailor Uranus? Zach said she was best in show. There was an Advent Children costumed Tifa that was on POINT. Unfortunately, I didn't have the camera and it burns me to this day. Great stuff. Easily, the best Sailor Moon costume of the show:

This last one is from the manga/anime 'Fruits Baskets'. I have been meaning to pick these up, but a little something called 'Peach Girl' and 'Bleach' happened, so I'm a little behind. Even so, Ive been told from reliable sources its a good read/watch. That and check out the costumes. If I am not mistaken, they won the Saturday competition. Deservedly so in my opinion.

Well, it was fun last year, and hopefully it will be just as fun this year. It will be great I think. Gonna probably get a hotel so I can do all three days, though. Sucked driving back and forth from the Springs. Hope to see anyone there!

Well, its Sunday so I gotta do some car work in a bit. Everyone stay up and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Its actually a kick ass day outside. See ya'll tomorrow.

Chachi out.

Greatest. Day. Ever.

Wow, what a day. Peeps I must say today kicked ass. It's hella late (Sunday damn-morning) but hells yeah it was fun. First off, there was no funk. Everyone was fresh and clean and I'm not sure the Park Meadows Mall would have put up with that. Those park rangers looked disrespect and down to beat some ass. Second, the show was awesome. I really know how most J-pop shows work, but this went off well. The crowd was hype, the dancers were sexy (you will see) and Yoko Ishida seemed into the show rather than pulling a diva act and knowing that 85 anime geeks is as big a crowd she was gonna get in Colorado. All and all, a great show. Take a look for yourself:

Yes, that is me smiling like some fanboy. Sue me, I was excited to meet my first J-Pop star. And the Para Para dancers were kind of saucy. Oh yeah. Needless to say it was pretty bad ass. She signed my cd (which has the opening for 'Ai Yori Aoshi' which I shrieked like a 12 year old girl for when she performed it) and even said my name, albeit I thought the personalized the autographs and I honestly thing she was testing her English. Even still, at least she didn't ignore me like John Elway or DMX.

Also, I knocked the 'Para Para' dance craze yesterday, and rightfully so. After what I saw yesterday, it looked like a hepped-up version of the Japanese macarena. I must say, that after seeing it live, they really tone it down and it kind of kicked ass. It could be the next DDR without the awkward spastic movements. When they broke into the 'Ah My Goddess' Opening (a song which I also lost my shit over, btw) and had the folk dance going on in the middle it really seemed to be a completely different animal. Hell, I even learned the moves after one go-round and even joined in. You can tell by the jumpy camera work in the video. To top it all off, they did a happy-hardcore style version of 'Let Me Be With You' from Chobits (which turned me into a shrieking mess again but I don't care that song RULES ALL) which officially made this the greatest day fricking ever. I will have video up in a bit, I am streaming it as I type. Gotta give my peeps visual of this event.

Also, props to Get Loose, a member of the Men's Para Para Team. He was breaking it DOWN like compounds. Check him out. He even let me get a picture:

Dont let him fool you. He got LOOSE, ya'll.

On another note, I am starting up the script for the first LoChachi movie to be released this Spring with a trailer up at some point in February. Dare I say, it will most definitely kick ass. Got some voice actors and most of the equipment, so now its just a matter of building sets and a storyboard (again). Hopefully, if the three people that come here like it, I will release the summer blockbuster sequel in around July. Its all about the peeps.

I will update this in the morning with video of the Anime Fusion Tour so stay tuned. Odds are there will be no rant on Monday unless something really gets my going. Gonna relax tomorrow. Stay tuned, peeps.

Chachi Out.

Dance all night. Make it funky.

Ah, Friday. First off, how is everybody? I hope your week was cool. You know, this not having a job thing aint so bad. I'm getting paid until the end of March now (KICK ASS!) and all I have to do is not threaten my old employer publicly. Which it TS for them, because I have been on Ugandan TV doing that for six months. Also, I am getting ALOT of anime to watch and dare I say, the Japanese and their drawers affinity is beginning to weird me out. When buying used panties becomes a punchline rather than a crimnal act, I shudder. I am hearing great things about Bleach (I gave up on downloading because its up to 60+ episodes) and Loveless so keep an eye out for them. I have also been catching up on comics and I know a lot of you arent up on the Infinite Crisis, but pick up the series. If you read 'Crisis on Infinte Earths' in 1986 you will REALLY dig issue #4, you will see the return of a someone that if you are into comics will bring a tear to your eye.

Well, tomorrow is the Anime Fusion Tour up at Park Meadows Mall and I must say I am a little bit excited. Having only been to one big anime convention (and not a fan of the experience I must say) but I have never seen a live J-Pop artist. Yoko Ishida (who has been shoved down my throat until I liked her for the last 4 months thanks to Media Play and anime mags) is the performer and her music aint bad. If you didnt know, she has done opening/closing themes for Ah! My Goddess (hells yeah!), Pretear (never heard it) and Ai Yori Aioshi (I dug this one, sue me) and has released a few albums. She will be accompanied by the Para Para Dance Crew (more than ktwo people dancing in unison is a crew, its science) and I am afraid from what I have seen so far. Someone could lose an eye if this is what they are gonna be doing:

A good segway into a little think that bugs me. Otaku. No time to explain: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otaku should help you out. Now that you have a glimpse of otaku and their ilk, I only have one problem with them. They are WAY TOO INTO IT. I mean I like anime, j-pop, manga and a lot about Japanese culture. But aside from Bennie K and sushi chefs (ronin sushi chef anime. it will work!), I don't obsess about the Japanese culture. I feel kind of like an old man when it comes to anime. There are those of us that remember when anime was seen as animated porn (Legend of the Overfiend, anyone?), violent drivel (Fist of the North Star, anyone) or a just downright odd. With Akira and Robot Carnival, I gotta give people the last one. But my point is, there is a wave of this otaku mouth-breathers that are just allowing it to get saturated with people who are making us all look bad. You know the ones. The non bathers. I was at Nan-Desu-Kan (sp?) and it smelled like 'Shaun of the Dean' looked. Body odor is not a badge of otaku honor. Mixing it with Pocky is even worse, and Pocky can be good eating.

Now I am not one of the anime elitest. I've seen those losers taling about the 'old days' of Astro Boy and Gigantor. I'm not one of those, and I still say Gigantor kind of sucked ass. All about Manzinger, baybee! Tranzor Z for those not familiar, but back to the point. I am one that remembers when anime was right next to porn in the Camelot Video store. I remember when the manga section was in the far back near the OCCULT BOOKS at Waldenbooks. I remember when I would have to stay up until 2:30 in the morning to see anime on TBS, and it was ALWAYS Akira or Heavy Metal, which is not anime. I am upset about how anime has been turned 'cool' like how gay was 'cool' with the metrosexual craze. Laughing at us, not with us.

There is nothing wrong with embracing a culture, as much as an intolerant dude I seem I respect a lot of other traditions and cultures. I am against people taking to the extreme where they speak shitty Japanese and wear 'I Heart Yaoi' shirts. That is stupid and you making all of us look bad because you are not what the majority of anime fans represnt. All I want to say is tone it down, its okay to embrace a culture without ridiculing yourself and others. And fucking bathe. Many will attest, it was a rough go at the anime con. I have smelled the valley of death, and it was by the DDR and Karoke rooms. And back on the Yaoi. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, MAN! First, a little background because I am sure if someones kid puts 'yaoi' in a search engine someone will shit bricks so here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaoi

Done? Good. Now, at the con Zach and I saw three dudes and one had the 'I Heart Yaoi' shirts on. I had not bought my beating stick yet, but needless to say I was pissed. Not about same sex love that is fine. I have nothing against that. And reading yaoi doesnt mean you are gay. But if you dont know what it means (which this kid didnt if I'm not mistaken), dont wear the shirt. If you are in to man on man love thats cool. But its not a fad, its a life-choice. Its not waiting room reading material, its erotic manga. I wouldn't wear a 'I Heart Hentai' or 'Seinen 4 Life' shirt if I didnt know what they meant. Since I do, never in hell would I wear them, btw. And before anyone gets the wrong idea again, I am not against gays settling down. I am against putting 'I Heart Yaoi' on a paddle and selling it to 12 year olds. Something about gay love, paddles and minors just makes me thing illegal. Maybe its just me.

Anyway, on lighter note I want to give a shout out to Griff for the blog title yesterday. I didnt give him recognition yesterday and he let me hear about it. I am also issuing an open challenge on behalf of him to anyone who wants to get down in Mario Kart: Double Dash for the Gamecube. Bring your lunch bitches!

Also, I will try to get some pictures at the Anime Fusion Tour tomorrow and have them up by Sunday morning. The video of Teq's show is coming, my cpu wont read the camcorder and I cant find the software. All this computer knowledge and cant get a camcorder to work. Priceless.
I am going to update this thing in a little bit with a little video I have been trying to upload. FOR A DAMN HOUR. Geez, things are SO not coming up Milhouse. Stay up and goodnight, peeps.

(Update)

Wow, an h0ur and a half. Guess I should turn off bittorrent. Anyway, the first time I saw this video I was underwhelmed. After watchng I mus say it has grow on me. For those of you unfamilar with Bennie K (Since only three of you visit and two of you know them already, this is for that mysterious third person. Drop a line, stranger!) here is a visual: http://www.youtube.com/?v=dloIuGzXAX4

This is their video for 'Oasis' which is my second favorite song by them (All about 'Puppy Love Pt I' dude. Tell me it doesnt sound like an west coast summer jam from high school) and is just a happy action dance time video. Enjoy!

Chachi out.

Wednesday, January 25, 2006

There are days when it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. They are called days off.

Aw, hell yeah! We off to Jeff-eezy's! It's been a long time, peeps. Had some things to do this weekend so the updates had been put on hold. But life has slowed down and I am back!

On a sad note, I haven't heard back from the company I interviewed with, even after I sent a thank you letter and e-mail. Not a BAD sign seeing as they said the beginning of next week would be the contact date. Don't want to come on too strong or seem to desperate. Ladies mace you in the club for that kind of thing.

For follow-up: Teq's show went well. Needless to say, the fewer people you have in the entorage, the better. I swear he is like Diddy-deep when it comes to a posse. I have some video of the concert and random stuff that I will have up on youTube this week. And if you are reading, no Jackie I dont think you have a big head. Its proportional.

I saw Underworld: Evolution and I must say, it was pretty damn awesome. I wasnt expecting the world after the first one, but it was really good. It was no Batman Begins (the movie which all other films will be judged from this point on until eternity or until the sequel hits), but it was watchable and the action was top notch. The whole blood think had me bugged, but hell it was a vampire movie and they don't drink Fanta. Note to Coca-Cola: NO ONE DRINKS FANTA. At least there were no Fantana's in the previews. God I can't stand Fanta.

As for my rants. I have been suprisingly calm this week. Nothing really pissed me off so nothing is fresh on my mind. I'm having an issue with women with fake ta-ta's and asking for an opinion. They are foriegn objects. In your body. Do the thinking by yourself and you will figure out that unless you have like two miss matched boobies or an horrifying deformity that they look stupid and implausable in terms of gravity. And about the half-size jean jacket: get a full coat or go without. Fashion is fashion, but tiny coats are fucking stupid. And do not wear clear heels unless you are a stripper or want to be mistaken for one. NO ONE wears clear heels outside of the nudie bar. Oh, and if the shoes are uncomfortable, dont wear them. I dont care if you are trying to impress other girls, men (who if they are looking at your feet longingly are probably not the men to mess with any-damn-way) or whoever. If the shoe dont fit, dont wear the shit.

As for men....boy where do I start. First off an unironed shirt and ripped pants arent vintage. Its an unironed shirt and ripped pants. Hobos dress that way because they have to. At least let the downtrodden keep their fashion, dicks. Also, unkept hair is not a fashion statement! Putting gel in there doesnt help the problem! Invest in a comb, you brain-dead mouth-breather! Wifebeaters are NOT AN ARTICLE OF CLOTHING! It is an UNDER-SHIRT. To be worn UNDER a SHIRT. Common sensel, people! If you are wearing a wifebeater, you should be beating women. And if you are beating women, in the afterlife you WILL be anally violated. No matter what religion, Ike Turner aint getting a parade when he dies. He will spend the afterlife in a cell with a man named Twan. And he's hungry...for love. And that's real. Unless you are :

The Rock
Vin Diesel (I hate his work, but I got to agree with Beth on this one. Tres hot)
Christian Bale (Batman for you non-believers)
Mike Vick (I'm straight, but that is a buff dude. Hells yeah)

You should not be wearing a muscle shirt. It may be a little jealosy talking, but think about it. Its not fashionable, not functionable and you arent sexy you look bloody stupid. We all know you cant breathe and thats why you are posted up against something and not dancing at the club. Because you will pass out and I aint giving your quasi-buff ass CPR.

And now for my nemesis: black people. Here are the new official rules:
  • No chains, of any metal
  • No grillz (whould you put metal in your mouth on GP? Hells no! Why for fashion?)
  • No music video dancing. How about this, if you see it in a video dont do it. Odds are its not fit for a public arena and usually only serves the purpose of strippers. They want their moves back.
  • No more of the 'too cool' act. Niggas know what I mean. Women's names aint ma and shorty. And get the hat from over your face, you look like a 9 year old at their first Cubs game with dads hat. And ladies, dont take it. You are just as stupid as they are when you do. Ignorance breeds ignorance.
  • No pimp cups. Ever. It wasnt cool when Lil Jon did it. Sure as FUCK wasnt cool when Bishop Don Juan did it (another rant completely) and its not cool now. Sorry, Teq but I just cant dig it. I'm hating.
  • Tight booty pants. I had to battle with this one, because I like curves. But I also like women who dont have to dress like they are going to the club. At Safeway. Quit trying so hard, if you got it, it shows wherever you are with whatever you are wearing.
  • Sunglasses inside/at night. Not sure when this became hot. The song was stupid and so are you. Please stop before you accidentaly walk into traffic.
Quite simply, this is the point. Women: Life is not 'Sex in the City', stop trying to live that way. Men are simple and so are you. Act like it and we will both be happier. Men: Life is not Maxim. And comb your damn hair. Look like you have some god damn sense. Black people: Never watch BET. Nothing redeeming has ever come from that network. You would be suprised the interesting stuff you see when you watch something without rap in the background.

Had to let that out. Back to the peeps. Well, I know that rant was out of the blue, but after bing in settings with a variety of people, I notice things. Also, the next rant is on anime fans. As Zach knows, I hate fanboys (comics) and I cant STAND otaku. And I will rant on yaoi so be forwarned. Well, thats all for now, I'm gonna put stuff up tomorrow because....hell I have nothing else to do. One last thing. Griff, here is Mayra Veronica:

I told you.

Stay up peeps. Chachi out.

I need new friends.

So I get back from ball-shrinking weather and a sold out 'Underworld: Evolution' and I must say that I am not happy about that. I really can't understand why there were more showings of "Brokeback Mountain' than Underworld. We were a second away from Kirsten Dunst having Jake Gyllenhaal play Spider-Man. Remember that next time you watch 'Bubble Boy.' Anyway, I was kind of excited about seeing it, as the first one was better than a swift kick. I am going to have to see this movie, it doesn't look like its gonna be bad at all. Word of mouf has been good so far.

So I had my second interview today and it went very well. I honestly believe that unless the Sean Connery looking gentleman gets it (I am dead serious, I thought he was going to say his name was Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez when we met) I have a 50/50 shot. And the CFO was a she. All I could think about was the part in Anchorman when the large Latino bartender says 'Women can do stuff now!' Took everything in me to not laugh. Aside from that, it actually was very informal and a great experience. Good luck to me.

My dear god. Griff, I have wanted to say this for a long time, but you have been scaring me. It was bad enough you made the ninja mask out of a t-shirt, put on all black and and traumatized the kids, but this is the last straw. Peeps, this man needs Jebus: http://www.addictinggames.com/monkey.html

Now that my brain has been completely shut down by that link (574mph, biz-natch!), everybody enjoy your weekend. I may put some stuff up over the weekend from Teq's show for ya'll who are interested to see if I take the camcorder. Oh, and Z here is Scarlett from the Golden Globes. Giggidy giggidy, giggidy goo. Chachi out:
